I would write you a book
If I don't have to read it out loud.
I would write you a song
If I don't have to sing it out loud.
I'd write down everything you want to hear
But I'm not able to tell you eye to eye.
I'm lost in the world of my thoughts
Like a maze I can't escape
With a lot of misleading tracks.
And I can't escape no matter how hard I'm trying.
Talking always makes me run into those misleading tracks.
Makes me lost in the maze.
And as soon as I start opening my mouth
The maze is getting even bigger.
I've been lost in this maze for too long
The exit has already grown together
The maze itself grew taller
The misleading tracks increased.
And in the end of the day
I'm not able to say anything.
But I still keep on running, even though I know I won't ever be able to escape.
I'm running and running.
Faster and faster.
Until I'm becoming a part of this chaos myself.
I would write you a letter
A long letter only for you
But in the end of the day my words are lost in this maze.
