In the middle of the night we were outside
Exploring the world with nobody around.
Only the dim light of the street lamps
Guided our ways straight ahead.
I didn't know where to go, left or right
But you gently grabbed my hand
Showed me the way and held me tight.
And this moment, I swear, I felt infinite.
In the middle of the night we went up there
Looking down at the town with nobody around.
And the lights down there were sparkling
But nothing sparkles brighter than your eyes.
Your diamond eyes, telling me it'll be alright.
As long as the moon shines every night.
But little do you know that you're my moon
That guides me the way back to me soon.
In the middle of the night we were dancing
Under the stars with nobody around.
Only the universe was watching us
Laughing and being crazy in love.
In the middle of the night we were together
Just the two of us with nobody around.
"With you by my side I feel as infinite as the universe"
"And with you by my side the universe is only ours."
