Everything is going so well with Jeremiah and I'm really happy that it is. I'm really starting to like him. My walls are up so high and each time we hang out, he finds a way to break them down a little bit more.
I feel really bad about lying to him about Dre but I just don't want him to have to worry about that whole situation because if he ends up coming back I don't want him to get hurt. Jeremiah just brings out the good in me so if anything happens to him I'd be crushed.
Whenever I'm around him, I feel more goofy and carefree, which I am usually not. The kisses we shared were spectacular, although it was only twice, I could feel his genuineness. When we kissed, it sparked something inside of me. Something that hadn't been felt in years.
I felt like I was in love again.
But some insecurities were still installed in my brain. I was afraid that he would do the same thing to me. Although he's not Dre, I can't help but fearing it to happen again. It could be seen as disrespectful to compare them but it's just me trying to be careful. I don't want get hurt again. I truly feel like I want to give Jeremiah so much more. No matter what happens though, I can never ever forget what Dre did.

Tonight was a very anticipated night; Anthony Brown's Summer Bash. Every year Anthony had a big ass party when school got out. Anthony was the captain of the basketball team at our high school and everybody knew him.
Rayna and I finally made it to the party on time surprisingly.
We walked into the party and it was obvious that it was going to be a classic. Drinks were everywhere and the strong scent of weed filled the air.
At the door we were greeted to Anthony himself.
"Hey y'all, thanks for coming. Looking good Miyah." he says licking his lips.
