"Chanel, I'm really tired and I wanna sleep, I'll take a rain check on this one." I whined.
"Please Miyahhh, I'll take you out to eat tomorrow! I promise!" Chanel begged.
"You real lucky I love food and you're my best friend or I'd be slumped right now" I gave in, getting out the bed.
Chanel and I grew up together in Detroit, we went to school together and have been friends forever. I trust her with my life and I wouldn't want it any other way. She's studying communications and broadcasting.
"Thank you baby! That's why I love you!" She screamed while hugging me.
"You better love me, you don't have a choice heffa." I snickered.
I started to rummage through my drawers looking for something to wear for the party. I finally settle on a off the shoulder striped top and some jeans.
I set my outfit out and walked into the bathroom to shower. I turned the water on and my bluetooth speaker while waiting for the water to heat up. Once it was hot enough, I stripped and got into the shower. With Brown Sugar by D'Angelo blaring through my speakers, I washed up with my Magic In The Air shower gel from Bath and Body Works. After I got out the shower, I got dressed and did my makeup. I didn't overdo it, just a little foundation here and there and I had to do my eyebrows. Then, I straightened my hair, which took forever, and put my black heels on.
"You ready, MiMi?" Chanel yells.
"Yeah, here I come!" I say as a spray a little perfume on.
"Oooh, look at youuu! Looking like a snack!" I squealed while looking at my bestfriend.
