PERSONALITY
Haruka is a musical prodigy and coincidentally loves nothing but music. Haruka loves classical music, ranging from piano to violin. She is quiet and mentally curious about her surroundings, being a somewhat loner before the Host Club arrived in her life. She is quite blind to her own feelings of romantic love towards Tamaki, of which Haruhi and the others are completely aware of.
APPEARANCE
Haruka had dark-chestnut hair (so dark that it's mistaken as black) with natural curls at the ends, all inherited from her mother. Her eye color is dark brown and she had a slender body, though she is also short. Her skin was dark brown which resulted in her standing out above the rest often. Outside of school, Haruka preferred to wear casual attire, supposedly getting tired of formal wear because of her school uniform.
BACKGROUND
As a child, Haruka grew up in America with both her parents. Her and her family soon move to Japan to be closer to her grandmother, who's health started to take a turn for the worse. Haruka became exceptionally well with playing the violin as she did it to entertain her family and grandmother at a young age. Haruka experienced racial bullying in elementary during her life in Japan which is the cause of her thinking process presently. Servants described Haruka as "an energetic and bright child" when she was younger. Haruka took her talents to a new level, soon becoming famous to the whole word.
In middle school, Haruka was sent in and out of the hospital for check ups and procedure. She barely got to attend school because of her health issues. One morning, she found her parents crying before they broke the news that she had cancer. Unfortunately, Haruka didn't see the point in continuing further after that and continued to live her personal life as if nothing had changed. This was also the time where her father began to not show up from time to time, slowly helping her realize he was having an affair.
As high school drew in Haruka became more of a loner, not wanting to make friends so her sickness wouldn't cause anyone harm. Though, unfortunately, that's exactly when the Host Club entered and introduced her to a roller coaster ride nobody was prepared for.

Fanfiction❝Welcome to the Host Club!❞they all said together once more. I strained a tight fake smile at them all, grabbing the double doors and slamming them shut before I could witness anymore of the 'Host Club'. ❝That's definitely not the room.❞
