---Chapter Eleven; Take Some Risks---玉木。. 自由に私を助けます。
(Tamaki. . . help me be free. . .)
I clenched my eyes slowly, a quiet sigh leaving my lips before I groaned and moved my fingers a bit. D-Did I got to sleep? The last thing I remembered is watching Tamaki play the piano, then my eyes got heavier. . . and heavier. . . and heaver. . .I moaned and opened my eyes carefully as my surrounding's carefully came into focus. When did I change out of my school uniform? I furrowed my eyebrows when I saw that I was attired in a nightgown.
Too tired to worry about it I yawned tiredly and rolled on my side, the bed creaking just slightly before I reopened my eyes fully, only to soon widen them at what I saw. A beautiful blonde boy slept quietly beside me, his body looking almost too frail to touch, you might worry that you would break him. The boy hummed and shifted a little in his position, without warning my cheeks warmed up.
I squinted my eyes, looking more closely at the person before realizing who it was. "T-Tamaki. . . " I mumbled, noticing that it was the famous host club member. Tamaki pressed his lips together and slowly opened his eyes, smiling gently once he saw it was me. "Good morning Haruka-Chan. . . " he mumbled, chuckling. I gulped at our closeness, ignoring my still hot cheeks and quickly sat upright.
"U-Um, why are we in the same bed together? A-And, where are we?" I asked, my eyes scattering around the room in worry. What happened last night? I really can't remember anything. . . and. . . judging by my state right now, it doesn't look like anything good happened. Actually, it looks like we. . . um. . . uh. . .
"Hm? What do you-ahh! O-Oh!" Tamaki yelled suddenly, sitting up along with me while blushing mad red. "N-N-No! Nothing like that happened! I-I-I swear!" he rambled embarrassingly. I let out a sigh of relief, placing my hand on my chest as I did so. Thank god, that could've ruined my reputation. . . "T-Then could you explain everything else?" I asked, eyeing the unfamiliar room.
Tamaki grinned and folded his arms. "Well, when you fell asleep I carried you out the school and headed towards your place when I realized. . . I don't even know where you live. The only choice I had was to bring you. . . to my home." he said softly. So, I'm in Tamaki's house? "A-A-And about your clothes! My father insisted on getting a maid to wash them! S-She also changed you too! I promise I-I didn't see anything. . . " he scratched the back of his head, licking his lips.
I'm just glad that nothing happened. . . "Oh, okay then. . ." I said and out of the blue my stomach grumbled loudly, causing me to cringe with embarrassment. Tamaki widened his ocean blue eyes and then laughed. His laugh. .It's. . . beautiful. . . "Are you hungry?" he asked and held his hand out.
"Come on, I'm sure the servants have fixed something up." he said and winked mischievously. I smirked and grabbed his hand. "Whatever. . . " I said and allowed him to help me off the large bed, admiring the expansive room a bit more before following Tamaki out the door. I knew Tamaki and his family were rich (obviously) but I didn't know they had good taste too.
The house was gorgeous, everything looked so opulent from the gleaming brown wood floors to the innocent and sheer curtains billowing like mist with the windows that showed off the bright sun. Guessing from the outside it seemed to be still quite early, or maybe not, I'm not sure. The furnishing was extravagant, it reminded me of my own home to be honest. The whole place seemed to melt perfectly together as if it was made to be put in the same room.
I stopped in my steps when I saw my reflection, seeing that I was looking at glass that secured an indoor pool. "You have an indoor pool?" I asked breathlessly, mesmerized. I didn't own an indoor pool, in fact, I've only swam at least three times in my years. . ."Of course! I thought everyone had one!" he declared, smirking cheekily.
"O-Oi grandma. . . I can't swim. . so. . . promise you won't let go?" I asked her, looking up from the crystal water and into her doe eyes. She giggled and held onto my waist tighter, her hands warming me up from the coldness of the ocean water. "I'll never let you go." she said kindly. I frowned and released one of my hands from her shoulder, bringing out my pinkie. "P-Pinkie promise?" I sniffed. She smiled and locked her pinkie with mine. "I promise."
But, you broke your promise grandma. . . you let go. . . and left me. . .
"Hey Haruka-Chan. . . Haruka-Chan. . ." I blinked a couple of times as Tamaki snapped his fingers repeatedly in my face. "H-Huh? What?" I said, looking at him confused. "You just zoned out there. . ." he muttered worriedly. My face softened. "S-Sorry. . ." I whispered, looking away. Grandmother. . ."Do you want to go inside there?" he asked, giving me a sympathetic look and pointing to the pool.
I couldn't answer with words so I just nodded instead. Actually I just couldn't find the right words to say. Tamaki put on a smile and opened the glass door, going inside after me. "Wow. . ." I said in amazement as I gazed at the beautiful indoor pool, my eyes sparkling at the gleaming chlorine water. I haven't seen pool water in so long its unbelievable. . .
"You act like you've never seen pool water before!" Tamaki snickered, massaging his shoulders. I walked to the edge of the pool and crouched down, staring at my appearance that reflected off the water. The smell of chlorine filled my nostrils, filling me back up with memories of me and grandmother once more.
"I don't usually get to swim actually. . . my parents say it's. . . unladylike. . . " I admitted and dipped my finger in the warm water. A minute of silence passed by until Tamaki suddenly spoke up. "You're not who I thought you were. . . " he said instantly, making me widen my orbs and turn around to look at the blonde-haired male. Tamaki frowned deeply, glowering at me a bit.
I raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" I said in confusion, standing up to face him. Tamaki sighed and brushed his hair back with his hand. "On TV you look like you're so free, so wild, and bright. You look like you could do anything and take on anything in the world." he took a step closer towards me. "But, in real life, you're so quite. You study everyone like a book and you're always alone and you keep to yourself." he said sharply.
What's his problem all of a sudden? "Well. . . I'm sorry I disappointed you." I grumbled. "That's not what I'm saying. You've never disappointed me." he said. I cocked my head to the side, not understanding what the boy meant. "Then. . . what are you s-"
"I just want you. . . to live more. . ." he said, placing his hand carefully on my chest
Then he pushed me into the water. . .
