--Chapter Two; Honestly. . . --

私たちは一日、覚えていることが取引をしましたか?

(We made a deal that day, remember?)

I widened my eyes at the somewhat beautiful voice that came from behind me. It's not normal for someone to just pop out like a jack-in-the-box during practice or anytime of the day. The music room was a quiet and enclosed place that allowed you to escape from reality and drown in the musical notes that twirled in the air like ribbons. I turned my body around, facing towards the entrance door where two gorgeous blue eyes met eye contact with me.

Now getting a better look at him I realized that he was the boy sitting down in the chair back in the Host Club I bumped into, the one who looked like a prince in my eyes. An overrated prince, ha! "How do you know my name?" I asked him, glaring a bit. He smiled and leaned off the door, walking inside the room with each step.

"Everyone knows your name." he said. I frowned and tilted my head up. "What are you talking about?" I asked, now curious. "Your Haruka Miyagawa. The girl who won the violin contest and almost went nationwide with it too." he said. I bit my bottom lip, not being able to deny it. If I did then I would be lying. Personally I don't like talking about my previous wins. I guess it reminds me too much of my grandmother. Yeah, that could be it.

"And my um, friend did some quick research on you after you left." he admitted with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes currently wanting him to leave me alone as fast as possible. "Anyways, your playing..it's amazing. I've heard people talk about it and when I heard that you enrolled here I was too shy to ask you to play for me. What a coincidence that you ran into my club." he smiled sheepishly. He acts like I really care. How cute.

"Whatever. Can you go already. Shouldn't you be getting back to your little 'Host Club?'" I said, bringing the wooden violin down slowly. His cheeks dusted a very faint pink though it was visible as he looked away and averted his locked eye gaze from me. "What if I'm a bit more interested in you?" he muttered. I sighed. I don't have time for this. "Listen, I appreciate the flattery but I'm really trying to practice. To be honest you don't know a lot about music therefore  you're useless to me at the moment." I spat.

He widened his eyes, completely taken back from my harsh words. I was sure he was going to leave but instead he pushed his beautiful blonde hair back, pulling up a smirk on his thin lips. "You were playing The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams." he said, folding his arms. I scoffed and looked away. "That doesn't matter." I grumbled. "Fine then, if you say so. Let me prove my worth." he said. Worth? I watched him walk to the grand piano and sit down on the wood stool.

"Excuse me but what are you doing?" I asked, not believing what I was seeing. "I'm proving my worth to you by playing the piano." he said. "You're joking right?" I asked, laughing at this. He pulled up another smirk. "If I was joking you'd know. I'll play the piano with your violin. It can be a quick duet move." he said. You've got to be kidding me. I smirked as well and pulled the violin back onto my shoulder even though it was beginning to tense up. "If you say so." I said.

I'll only do this so that he can make a total fool of himself and leave me alone finally. I'm getting tired of him already and all I've done is talk to him. "But if you mess up don't cry about it." I said. It doesn't fit a mans face to cry. He laughed at my words. "Same goes to you my dear." he replied calmly. He doesn't even have music sheet. What a dummy. I kept my laughter bottled up inside as I mentally prepared myself for the song piece.
