Chanyeol and Baekhyun had been arguing for about ten minutes until they both noticed that Narda wasn't coming back. They thought she would go off somewhere to cool down and then she would return to them. But they looked into the crowds of people enjoying the festival and she was nowhere in sight.
"We have to go find her." Baekhyun said with worry, biting down on his lower lip. He was now feeling guilty about what he did, only because Guti was mad at him and had stormed off without really knowing where she was going.
Chanyeol nodded his head in agreement.
For the moment, there was a silent and mutual agreement to cease in their argument. They would work together until they could find her. Then they could continue fighting over her once knowing she was well and safe. Together, they took off in the general direction she left in, hoping to find her quickly. Chanyeol got his cellphone out of his pocket and dialed her number, but got nothing. No doubt she was still mad at them and was choosing to ignore them.
Meanwhile Guti had left the festival. She took off in the opposite direction of the hotel until she reached the end of the festival and reached the boardwalk down by the beach. There, she saw another party happening. On the beach were people dancing to loud music that was playing and most of them had drinks in hand.
She sat in the sand, a ways away from them, since she didn't want to impose on a party where she wasn't invited. She heaved a frustrated sigh and dug her nails into the sand.
All Narda wanted was for them to get along while being around her for once. But that was the last thing that would generally happen. She couldn't be near one or the other without them fighting over her like she was a piece of meat. She was always stuck in the middle--between Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Even now that she had chosen Chanyeol, because Baekhyun had turned out to be a total jerk, it was still generating fights between the two friends. Narda thought about disappearing for a while, like she initially did when she found out Baekhyun was only playing with her feelings.
But they were her friends--not just the two of them, but the EXO boys, Nari, and the other girlfriends. She cared about all of them and didn't want to stop seeing them because of boy troubles.
She had been lost in her thoughts when she was pulled back into reality by someone. "What are you doing here, all by yourself?" A boy asked her. He was handsome, and looked no older than twenty five. He had a drink in his hand and was dressed in swim trunks, on his face a beautiful porcelain smile and in his hand a drink. He looked to be coming from the party a few feet away.
He had probably spotted her looking upset and decided to find out what was wrong.
"I didn't come by myself." Narda heaved a small sigh, and gesturing to the festival nearby, she continued. "I came to the mariachi festival with my boyfriend. But a friend of ours decided to tag along and sabotage our date." Narda would leave out the details about how her boyfriend was Park Chanyeol, and how that certain friend was Byun Baekhyun who she had a crush on. There was no need to expose them like that.
"Well..." The young man started. "Wanna come over to our party and hang out for a bit?"
Narda thought about it.
There were red flags everywhere. Going to a party she wasn't invited to, with alcohol and possibly drugs, with a complete stranger she had met on the beach right that moment. But she was too mad at the boys to even think straight, so she finally decided with a shake of her head.
"Sure." She said, and he held his hand out for her to take.

After about an hour of looking for Guti and not hearing from her, Chanyeol and Baekhyun started to worry. They thought about getting the police involved, but they only took action once the person had been missing for forty eight hours. Instead, Chanyeol called her on the phone, and left constant text and voice mail messages. None of which she was replying to. They had searched everywhere in the festival, and didn't think to look anywhere else, since they didn't think she would leave. She didn't know Busan and it would have been easy for her to get lost there.
