I've mentioned Exile Island, though we've yet to see it come into play—once we get those Round 1 results, we'll see the first Exile!—but I don't think I've "officially" mentioned Redemption Island, have I?
Yeah, there's a second island in this SmackDown. Possibly a third island, too, depending on whether we're calling the place you SmackDowners collectively reside an island...
But anyway: Redemption Island.
This is the place where those of you who get eliminated from the main SmackDown will go.
Because it ain't over 'til it's over—or some other nonsensical sports mantra.
At Redemption Island, you will fight to regain your place in SmackDown: MadMike's Revenge. You will participate in writing duels with your fellow Redemption opponents, with new prompts and new challenges. Whoever loses a duel will truly be eliminated from SD:MMR. There's no coming back after that. There will only be one person who makes it out of Redemption Island.
"How many duels do I need to win?" you might be asking.
Whenever the merge occurs, youngling.
"What's the merge, Pa?"
Hush, child. Eat your stone soup. Be patient.
You might have noticed parishsp has joined SD:MMR with a "Redemption Qualifying Entry"—this is why.
She's the first occupant at Redemption Island. She's waiting for her first opponent(s). She's hungry. She's thirsty. She wants to compete. Will she make it through Redemption Island?
You'll just have to wait and see.
