Consider me properly clusterfunked. Nice work with the third round, everyone. Sad to see the pair of dropouts, but sometimes life throws you some curveballs. No hard feelings towards either of the two.
Ready to see the results for Round 3? Normally this would be the part where I'd ask if you're keen to see who will stay alive in this game, and who will be the next ones to go to Redemption Island and face off against bloodsword, the victor of Redemption Duel 1—however, as previously mentioned, we had two dropouts, so that part is irrelevant. These judgements are mostly meaningless as all of you left are moving on, but the highest-scoring person will still choose who visits Exile Island. So there's that.
First, let's get out of the way who's got an advantage after successfully completing Bonus Round 2:
Congrats! You'll see your advantage applied automatically to your score for Round 3.

Dudecore - Sub-genre: DreamPunk
Judgement by MadMikeMarsbergen
1. Prompt Adherence - 5/5
Clever usage of the prompts. Had me chuckling.
2. Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation - 3/5
I believe I caught one missing hyphen. Most of the mistakes I caught related to a lack of commas before the word "though" (in cases where a comma would have helped readability).
3. Story Enjoyability - 5/5
A classic Angus tale that had me laughing and intrigued from the get-go. Nice twist near the end.
Total score - 13/15
Judgement by MadMikeMarsbergen
1. Prompt Adherence - 5/5
Loved the use of the prompts. Some very vivid imagery. The way the two quotes were used made me laugh. Definitely a "DreamPunk" story.
2. Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation - 3/5
There were some errors I caught: a missing hyphen here and there; the use of "blonde" when referring to a man—should be "blond"; and a couple words missed a possessive apostrophe.
3. Story Enjoyability - 5/5
Awesome story! Had me gripped, feeling the tension and mystery at the beginning. The bits of humour here and there were a nice touch. And the twist was cleverly done.
Total score - 13/15
Did not submit, dropped out.
Total score - 0/15
