You've impressed-uh me much for Round 2, SmackDowners!

We've got some funny stories and some that are a little more serious—very cool, especially those of you who opted to go serious for the funny (Dudecore) prompt and funny for the serious (Hermaphrodeity) prompt. Mad props for that, yo, and fo' sho' there be totes dope skrilla up in the hizz-ouse, G-thang.

*coughs*

Ready to see the results for Round 2? Keen to see who will stay alive in this game, and who will be the first ones to go to Redemption Island?

First, let's get out of the way who's got an advantage after successfully completing Bonus Round 1:

AngusEcrivain

Reffster
AllanFisher

Congrats, you four! You'll see your advantages applied automatically to your scores for Round 2. This very well could be what bumps you guys past the competition and ensures you don't get sent to Redemption Island.

Now let's see if that's the case, shall we?

Dan, I must admit, has hit all the marks, firing on all cylinders. The only thing that drives me nuts is all his friggin' whilsts. But it's just the way he writes, and it is a word, so no points off for that.

In fact, I can't see a single reason not to reward Dan with a perfect score! His sentence structure is good, his story easy to read and he made good use of the prompts, writing a tale that is interesting and funny. So it's our first FIFTEEN!

MadMikeMarsbergen's comment: The 5/5 PSG score sent a signal into the sky, alerting I, The Grammar Nazi. After reading AngusEcrivain's story with my admittedly tired eyes, I spotted an error—"all-too aware" should be "all too aware," as those words don't form a compound adjective to describe "aware." A way it would be hyphenated would be something like the following: "He had an all-too-familiar air of superiority to him." However, the rules for a perfect 5/5 in PSG state you can have one error. So the 5/5 sticks.

Advantage from Bonus Round 1 bumps up the highest non-5/5 score to a 5/5—however in this case there weren't any non-5/5 scores, so the advantage effectively becomes a +1.

Total score - 16/15

5 for Prompt. Fine. You can have a 5, as yes, the prompts were well integrated. But just a word of warning -- Austin Powers is a super-cool dude, and if you insult him again... you better pray I'm not judging.

3 for Grammar. Sorry, dude, but you've missed the mark here. Lots of little things like "1990's" should be "1990s" and "longest running reality television show" should be "longest-running reality television show."
