Dora huffed. "How did he find the necklace?!" She turned her head towards the people behind her. "Come with me."

She flew down behind some houses and shrinked, making the students riding her stay floating in the air. The swim down. She gestured towards the castle, which is close to where they were.

"Get in the castle. Your wounds must be treated. It is safe inside."

The adolescents with minor injuries protested that they could help her.

She shook her head. "This is not your fight."

Sam struggled, still in Tucker's arms. "No, Dora. Let me help."

She looked at the princess. Like last time, she added in her head.

Dora smiled and shook her head. "Stay safe. I will distract him. Don't worry. Nothing bad will happen." And she ran down a street away from them.

Maddie halfran towards the castle. "Let's go kids."

A few hesitated. "Aren't we gonna help her? She was very nice to us."

Maddie shook her head, not looking back. "As she said. It is not our fight."

It took only a few minutes to get to the bridge. They heard fighting and looked back to see Dora had morphed to her dragon form and stood in front of the black dragon.

"Your days of ruling are over, sister. I am back to reclaim the throne. Be a good princess and stand down."

Dora bristled. "Never again, brother. You will not bring this kingdom down." She blew icy breath at the other but he dodged.

Mr. Lancer ushered the gaping kids into the castle. "What are you still doing here. It's dangerous."

A ghost met them in the entrance and brought them in. It was crowded. Many ghosts had escaped inside the castle. The ghost saw the wounded and immediately showed them the medical wing. The others that only had scrathes were put in a different, bigger room where many other ghosts with small wounds were being treated.

Danny, Sam, Tucker, Dash, Valerie and Leroy were ushered in a smaller room for more critical wounds. And thanks to them being in direct contact with the fight and the flying remains of Fright Knight's sword they had more serious wounds.

Maddie carried Danny inside and looked around uncertainly. A petite ghost lady noticed them and reached out to take Danny from his mom. She held on tighter.

The ghost looked at the woman in confusion, then she understood and gestured for the mother to follow her.

Maddie did so cautiously and was showed a tall bed on one side of the room behind a curtain.

When she looked around she realised there two whole rows of beds. Some were hidden behind cozy blue curtains. Others were open to show many patients being treated or resting. Many ghosts had burns because of the dragon's attack. Others were hurt because of fallen buildings.

The ghost lady gestured for Maddie to place Danny on the bed. "We will take good care of him."

Maddie hesitated for a moment before gently laying her son down.

Danny looked around himself with halflidded eyes.

The nurse called for someone and two more nurses entered.

"You may leave now. He is in good hands."

Maddie shook her head. "I'm not leaving him." She didn't trust this. She didn't want to leave anyone alone with her baby now. She had let him out of her sight for a few minutes and look at what happened. A ghost happened. She wasn't about to leave him with another group of ghosts.
