This is the drawing of the trio im ost proud of so far
Danny woke with a start. He looked up at the sky of the Ghost Zone and smiled. He missed the stars of the human realm though.
He sighed and stretched. He felt well rested. He ruffled his hair and looked at his surroundings. He had finally dropped on the ground but he found he was still glowing slightly.
He looked around and was surprised to see that everyone else was still sleeping soundly. How could it be that he was so refreshed but was still awake before the rest? Had he slept past a whole day and was this the next night?!
He decided on no. The burst of power he got earlier must have energized him enough.
Danny stood up and inspected the teenagers and adults. He saw their bruised and battered bodies as he walked by them. He winced, not believing they would sleep outside on the hard ground with him instead of inside safe from other ghosts and on a soft bed.
He looked at the ground critically. Actually, now that he thought about it, the ground wasn't all that bad. It was covered in a deep layer of moss. Making his feet sink in the ground. He noticed the security bracelets they had mentioned around their arms. He had no idea how he would get those off later.
He sighed as he looked down at his best friends' bodies. Valerie too, he guessed. Is Valerie his best friend too now? She seemed to integrate with them quite nicely. And Mikey seemed to look up to Danny. He had mixed feelings about that. Andrew though. That boy kept looking at him with this calculating expression that didn't sit him well.
Danny plopped himself down. He really should stop worrying so much. But the boy couldn't get one thing out of his head.
The injuries.
He looked down at his hands. He could do it. Nobody else knew of it so it wouldn't endanger his secret. It would give them a clue though. But it was something he was willing to risk. He had had enough of seeing the students stumble around painfully while he had the power to help. Especially when Sam had gotten a concussion. Star too, it seems. Tucker was also still injured. And Valerie.
But he couldn't make a decision without consulting with his friends first.
Danny crouched by Tucker. "Tuck," he whispered. "Common dude wake up. We need to talk."
Tucker mumbled something incoherent but didn't move.
Danny smirked. "You asked for it." He reached out and snatched Tucker's pda from his clutched hands. Immediately Tucker yelped awake. Danny put a hand on his mouth and showed him the pda.
Tucker relaxed, then frowned. He said something but it was muffled by Danny's hand.
Danny put a finger to his lips and removed his hand.
Tucker took his pda back and rubbed his eyes. "What are you doing? I was just having this beautiful dream and I had so many chicks and I was famous..."
Danny waved his hand. "Sure sure. Hey, Tuck I need to talk to you guys. Can you wake up Sam?"
Tucker sat up and put his glasses on. "Sam? You want me to wake her gothic highness up? Oh no. No way you do it."
"Common Tuck. Pleaseeee. You know she hates the morning sun. She's gonna kill me."
Tucker raised a finger. "First: this is the Ghost Zone. There is no morning sun. Second: you do it. She has a soft spot for you." He crossed his arms. "Besides, you are the one who wants us awake. We wouldn't have this problem if you just let us sleep."
