New kim.
Also. Warning!!
There'll be gore. A little bit
Maybe I should rate the story for kids older than thirteen or something idk. Is that a G rate?Blackjack turned once they had gone through and blasted the door. It exploded into pieces, most of which burned away.
Danny closed his eyes at the bright light. His senses were too sensible now. Blackjack's flapping wings were like a hurricane in his eardrums. He was laying in front of Chelsea and splayed across the horse's back and neck. His arms flopped next to him.
Chelsea held him steady. "Hey. You ok there? Phantom?"
Danny blinked open his eyes. "Just call me Danny. Thanks, by the way."
Chelsea shook her head, still not fully believing the fact that her classmate was a real life superhero. "For what?"
"For getting me out of there. I don't think I could've stood up at the moment. Let alone fly away."
Chelsea snorted. "Don't thank me. I was in shock. Blackjack dissolved the shield and got you the moment we saw you stop. I just got you up."
Danny frowned and looked at the steed's fiery mane. He smiled. "Really? Thanks Blackjack. Guess you do have a heart."
The horse snorted and threw his head back, bumping into Danny lightly. The boy chuckled and held his head.
They flew up after the ship, which seemed to have stopped. They passed it and saw the faces of students looking after them through the windows.
Danny smiled and rose a hand.
They cheered. Sam put her hand on the window and smiled in relief.
Blackjack flew towards the very front. To the ghosts.
Dani waved wildly. "Danny!! That was awesome!"
David grinned, at least it looked like a grin. "How were you able to keep it up? And....I still want to know....why do you look like that?"
Danny flinched and held up a blue hand. Images and horror filled memories filled his mind of a certain someone that also had blue skin and fiery hair. They even shared the same name...what a coincidence.
He dragged the hair across his face tiredly and just shook his head.
Damien looked closely. "Hey man. You ok? How about you ride Cujo? You look like you need it more than me." Damien brought the dog closer to the halfa.
Danny nodded slightly and tried to push himself up. He ended up having to be passed from Chelsea to Damien, who positioned him in a way he wouldn't fall off. Damien sat next to David on Leroy and Dani was as always with Stephanie.
Dorian flew around them worriedly. "How do you feel, Daniel. Do you need anything?"
Danny stroked Cujo as the dog whined. He sighed. "I'm ok. Just tired."
Dani grinned. "Go ahead and take a nap. We're almost there anyways."
Danny hummed and his eyes closed. He was out like a light.

Fear.
It hung thick in the air. So thick, Danny could barely move.
