You were at home watching The Conjuring, you were with your best friend, Nash. Just as the hands clapped, my phone rang, making me jump.
"Hello? Is this (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?" asked some lady.
"Yes, who is this?" I question nervously.
"This is Judy Cripps from Duke University Hospital. I just wanted to inform you about your parents." she said nervously.
"W-whats wrong with my p-parents?" I asked on the verge of tears.
Nash looked at you with concern in his eyes. You could tell he was tired. His hair was messy, and he had bags under his eyes.
"On there way home, a semi truck ran over the top of their car, your parents died, you have to come to the hospital so we can release the bodies." said Judy sweetly.
"I-I-I'll b-be there a-as soon as p-p-p-possible." I replied feeling a few tears slip there way out of your eye.
After I hung up, I got up and ran up to your room. I slammed the door shut and got under my covers and started to cry. Nash followed me up the stairs, and knocked on my door. "Could I come in?" he asked nervously.
"Y-yeah." I replied with no emotion.
He picked me up and sat me on his lap.
"What happened?" Nash questioned, biting his lip.
"My parents...hit...semi truck...hospital...die." I couldn't even talk right.
"Just calm down, take deep breaths, and tell me later." Nash replied calmly.
"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN IF MY PARENTS JUST DIED?" I screamed at him.
After I said that, I just looked up at him wide eyed.
"N-Nash I'm s-sorry." I mumbled.
"It's fine (Y/N). I would be the same way." he said, kissing the top of my head.
We got our shoes on and walked out to Nash's new Jeep.
"I'm sorry for yelling at you earlier. I was just a little ticked off." I mumbled.
He grabbed my hand and squeezed it.
"I understand. I would be to." he said calmly, "my parents will be horribly devastated. They were your parents best friends."
"I'm only 16 though...I can't live on my own yet." I said.
"We can figure something out." he said, pulling into the parking lot.
Nash and I got out of the car, and headed for the entrance.
"Hi, I'm Spencer. How may I help you?" said the receptionist. He had brown hair and green eyes, with a really nice smile. I must say, he wasn't bad looking at all.
"Um, hi. I'm (Y/N) (Y/L/N). I'm here to release the b-bodies of my p-parents (Y/M/N) (your moms name) and (Y/D/N) (your dads name)." I replied.
"Alright. Your parents are in room 69. If there isn't a doctor in there, have your boyfriend here go find one please." he smiled.
"Uh, he isn't my boyfriend." I laughed.
"Oh, well here's my number babe." he smirked.
He handed his number to...Nash. I couldn't help but smirk up at him. I grabbed his hand and started walking toward elevator.
"I can't believe he thought I was gay!" Nash laughed.
"Don't say that. Sometimes I wonder if you really are." I mumbled, pressing the button labeled 2.
