Hayes's football games are normally were you'll find me. So, as of now, at five in the afternoon, I'm sitting on the bleachers at one of his games. I'm freezing. But I honestly don't care if it means making him happy that I'm there.
Now, before we get any ideas..Hayes and are I are not anything more than friends.....well, thats what he thinks. On the contrary, I like him. I think he's cute. But it;s normal to be friends with a guy you like. It must happen to you all the time right? Sometimes I just really wish things were different. Sometimes, I'm glad the way they are. Cheers from the crowd were heard all around..but I was to lost in my own thoughts at that point I hadn't been paying attention.
"WAY TO GO MIKEY!" Rebecca Scott, Mikey's girlfriend, called from the stands. I just kind of clapped along quietly.
The end of the game came to an end. Hayes's team ended up loosing 25 to 20. But it's okay because he had something up his sleeve.
"Before we have everybody leave tonight, we have one thing that has to be shown to someone very special out there." said one of the announcers. The football team lined up shoulder to shoulder. Their backs facing the crowd. One by one they took off their jersey tops and a letter was painted on each back. Some dripping with sweat. At the end Hayes was holding a sign that said my name on it.
"Homecoming Kayla?" Hayes said into the microphone.
Walking down the bleacher stairs, trying not tpo fall and make a fool of myself, I walked over to Hayes and hugged him. At this point I didn't care if he was a sweaty mess.
"Yeah." I whispered into his ear. I felt him grin into my neck.
"Thank the lord. I thought you'd never say yes." he laughed.

I'm such a horrible person. I hate how I write and I hate how I never have time to update. I'm so, very, extremely sorry that I'm as terrible as I am.
