"Okay Jack, the reason I have been distant is because I didn't want to scare you off!" I yelled.

"Scare me off because of what?! It's not like you like me! We're best friends!" he yelled back. I've never seen him more angry at me before.

"You're right Jack. I don't like you," I mumbled. "I l-love you."

"Wait what?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I SAID I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU! ALRIGHT? I'M SORRY!" I screamed while balling my eyes out.

"(Y/N), your my best friend alright? I don't know what to say to be honest. I just don't know right now. I've had all these mixed feelings about you." he replied.

"Well, I can't...I just...I don't believe myself. Falling for your best friend is not something I wanted or even intended to do," I whisper. "I'm so sorry Jack!" I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his torso. He didn't say another word. Just hugged me back.
