Lauren

"Lucy? Oh my God! What are you doing here?"  I threw myself around her shoulders bringing her in for a tight embrace, unlocking my front door forgotten.

After coming out of the coma, I didn't really speak to anyone but Lucy and she was the one who had pushed me to come back to the group and live my life. She said it would probably bring me back my memories since I had spent most of the last 4 years here with the girls.

Life being hectic due to being part of a popular girl group didn't leave much time for her and I to catch up. Seeing her here brought some good vibes to a weird ending day.

"I'm so sorry I haven't been in touch lately. Sean has been working us super hard and we've been recording our vocals for the album. I'm a total mess."

She waved it off. "No need to be sorry. Life happens. You're looking great for being a mess." She laughed little. Taking a more serious tone she pulled out of the embrace, her hands sliding down to hold onto my forearms. She continued on, "How has it been going for you? Everything okay? Are the girls helping you and treating you right?"

"Yeah, most definitely. Camila is being super helpful and the other girls make me feel welcome as well. As for the album and dance routines, those are amazing; crazy more than 90% of the time, but amazing. I wouldn't change it for the world. We're supposed to start doing promos in two weeks. They want the album out by June and then start a tour two weeks after release while still promoting to different talk shows and radio shows."

Life was going to be a little crazy the next 5 or 6 months, but I was enjoying the atmosphere and ambience provided by this music industry I was in.

"Wow!" She exclaimed. "That's just around the corner. We're in April now. Don't you think that's a lot to take in?" Concern laced her soft features.

"I'm sure it'll be a breeze." I shrugged it off. "Don't worry Lucy. I'm fine. Why don't we go inside my apartment and we'll catch up yeah?"

She nodded, a smile forming on her face. She dropped her hands from my fore arms and I went back to unlocking my door as I had been doing before Lucy had interrupted me.

Door open, I ushered Lucy in first, following right behind and closing the door.

"Make yourself at home. I'm just going to take a quick shower and throw these clothes to wash. If you're hungry or thirsty, I'm sure I've got something in the fridge." I gestured to my kitchen area.

"Okay. Don't hurry back." Lucy sat down on the couch, turning on the TV. Seeing she was okay, I made my way upstairs.

I went through the motions, stripping of my sweaty clothes and then jumping into the shower to be done with it.

Except...

Once I was there I couldn't help but to think of Camz and the way she had acted with the whole Camren thing with Dinah.

I hope she was okay. Maybe I should send her a text and ask if she was okay? Or would it be better if I just left her alone?

I sighed, letting the cool water run down my head and my body. Why did I have this need to have to look after her and make sure she was okay?

It wasn't the first time I had done it. The moment we had on the stairs had been the first time for me now. And I always seemed to be constantly drawn in to her.

Entering a room, my eyes sought her out. If she smiled, then I knew everything was okay. If she didn't, then I felt like I had to ask and make sure she was okay and I wouldn't stop pestering her until she was.
