The Flash: Flashpoint Paradox (Snowbarry)

chapter 25 -Speed

"Barry , can you hear me" she said moving closer to him ..

"He's still unconsious " cisco ran his hands through his hair , thinking of something

"He's healing " caitlin said in shocked and amazement

"What ?" Cisco came to caitlin's side and saw burn skin regenerating to a soft  fair colour skin .. cisco and caitlin look at each other , happy and shocked both at the same time ... even though cisco remembered barry being the flash but he still hadnt seen it in this life of his ... he was bewilded by the view ... Barry's skin repairing itself epithelium by epithelium and iy felt like magic as they both saw the magic progress , caitlin kept checking barry's vital signs which were running at a  normal pace ...

He was almost completely healed , for half an hour he has been unconsious ,she was worried , even when she saw he was healing but him not waking up scared the crap out of her ...

A moment later , sound of a heavy breath inhaled by barry as he shot out of the bed was heard .. caitlin and cisco held barry , trying to calm him down he was breathing heavily and he seemed like he was freaked out , of course he would be freaked out anyone would if there last memory was getting hit by lightning ..

Caitlin's face shaped into this smile of relieved ,and a drop of tear struggling to fall from her eyes ,  he was okay , it was all that mattered to her

"Barry , sshhh calm down , you are okay barry " she says rubbing his hands ...

But he couldnt stop panicking he couldnt see clear , he was feeling suffocated , like he cant breath ..

Cautlin took his face in her hands , and pressed her lips on him , without taking a breath both of them pulled aaway after a few seconds , where cisco stood awkward .. she parted her lips from his but looked closely into his eyes , trying to find ease .. he slowly calmed down , he could breath again , he wasnt suffocating anymore , he wasn't panicking , he was in his senses , looking at her , it brought him peace ...

"Ahem ahem " cisco coughed , making both of them jerk ...

"How do you feel barry ?" Cisco asks now concerned about his condition

"I feel fine , "he moved his arms , took a deep breath , tilting his neck right and left , like exercising ... "yeah im fine " he continued

"Does this mean , it worked ? " he asked suddenly when he realized what they were trying. To do ...

"We dont know for sure ," cisco said , neglecting the fact that barry just healed extensive burns in 30 minutes ...

"You did heal very quick " he now added , and smiled as if he was trying to disclose something

"I did " a spark of happiness shot on barry's face ..

"But we have to run tests to know for sure , and to what extent does these powers work " cisco added 

"Im gonna go see , what jessie and ronnie are doing , they dont know anything about this yet , soo " he said before he leaves

Barry and caitlin nodded .. caitlin turned back and brought a needle and some vaccume tubes to collect blood , she took barry's hand and inserted the needle in his vein and put one of the tubes  on the other end to collect blood she did the same with 3 more tubes .. barry just quietly looked at her , praising her beautiful skin , and her eyes , how her face tensed up when she is doing something docterly .. like she had to be perfect at it and she was always perfect, without Barry's permission a smile exposes on his face .. caitlin notices him smiling .. and she is happy , seeing him smile is all that she wants ..

"Why are you smiling ?" She asks , but doesnt stop what she's  doing

"You sure do love draining my blood " he says and chuckles

"This is the first time " she protests

And he remembers the multiple countless times when caitlin would xray his bones , draw his blood , check his eyes , examine DNA ... he laughed at the thought that caitlin actually knew him at the molecular level ..

He was about to answer her , but she spoke first "oh just forget it , I know you'd be thinking about her " she made an annoyed face , barry became serious in response the way she said her , who was she thinking he was thinking about

"Her ?" He asked

"Yeah the mee from that timeline , I'm starting to feel jealous now " she makes the most annoying face in the world and he burst out laughing

"Yeah laugh , its a joke for you " she mocks hin and turns to one of the testing machines and put in his blood , and turns it on

He smiles to himself

He stands up walking towards her , grabing her by her elbow and turn her around , she gives him a straight look , but he is just lost in her .. lost in the thoughts of her. In the memory of her .. he places his right hand on her cheek caressing it and taking his hand behind her ears touching her neck slightly .. she closes her eyes , she couldnt control it now , the feeling of his touch was extraordinary .. he leans in and parts his lips , and pressed them onto hers , she takes her hand up on his neck pulling him closer , his left hand went down to her waist , his right hand just tracing her neck ... he pulls away from the kiss just half inch away from her lips and his lips  travel to her neck , he places soft kisses around her pulse ..she closses her eyes , pulls him up to kiss him again ..

The heat starts to grow , he feels electricity go down his spine , and lightning in his eyes , and instantly everything around him stops and he feels as if nothing was moving , he realized just then that , he had it , he had his speed ... but did he not knew how to control it ... or how to use it ,  he took a step back and forth to the room around , the machines stopped moving  ..he felt a rush of surprise because this sudden time stop situation only happened when he discovered his powers for the first time ... he clossed his eyes and stopped thinking focused on here and now and to calm down ... and time was normal again .. before him stood an awkwardly shocked caitlin, who he realized he was just making out with in the hottest way possible ... he blushed and looked to the ground , caitlin imediately fixed her shirt which was a little out of place and straightened her hair with her hand ...

"What happened, how did you , you were just ?? " she ran to him ... questions running through her head he was just standing with her so close to her and now in the blink.of an eye he was ther , standing still ... 

"Time stopped " he said as a smiled carved through his face  ...
