Chapter 33: The Letter Part 2

"Barry " she whispered looking at him ..

He gave her a broken smile .. "go on .. " he requested ..

She nodded in response .. and looked back in to the letter ..

" but I know you can make it up to me , if you know what I mean .. "

He let out a little laugh
Caitlin smiled before continuing

" I dont have much time left , so I'm gonna get to the main thing here ..

Barry ! The time that I spent with you , was the best of my life .. the day you met me , the day I saw you for the first time , my heart skipped a beat .. and I knew right in that second that you were trouble for my heart boy " 

a smile spread accross caitlin's face , it was quite the same how she felt about him 2 years ago , when he asked her about her smile ..

"I fought hard with myself to not think of you again .. but you found me .. you tookme with you , you made me take a risk , a risk that made me realize how much I trusted you .. although the thought terrified me but it made me sooo happy that I was willing to take this chance .. "

Caitlin looked at barry .. he was just smiling ,sadly .. like he was remembering moments ..

And he was , as he heard these words escape caitlin's mouth , he was going back to all those moments , how he met her .. and freaked her out because he already knew her name .. how he sirt her out for Tess .. the moment that she yelled at him for trusting him blindly ... every memory was flashing before his eyes ..

"I know that I haven't known you for so long , but I do know that , you are the most kind , gentle , loving Man that I've ever met .. you have a pure heart .. and I hope that nothing and nobody can change that ..

Barry , I've seen you blame yourself for alot of things in your life .. I dont want you to blame yourself for me .. "

As caitlin finished this sentence , barry stood up .. not being able to control his tears .. he walked to the corner , his face in his hands ..

And caitlin knew .. even though she didn't know who the letter was from , or what they were talking about , she knew that barry was doing it , blaming himself ...

She stood up , and looked in the letter , she smiled at the next line , taking a step towards him she reads it loud so he could hear it ..

" promise me barry , please .. promise me , that you'll never blame yourself for what happened to me , promise me that you will live a wonderful life , that you will always remember the good times we had ..

Like the time when you took me to meet your parents , and you and your dad cooked dinner .. I never told you that then but , it was the first time after my dad died that I felt home , like I had a family ..

Promise me Barry !"

"I Promise " Barry said under his breath ..

But caitlin was confused , someone meeting Barry's parents , how could that be possible .. was the person talking about joe and henry or something eles ? 

She didnt felt like asking now , she wanted to finish the letter first ..

"No matter what you think Barry Allen , I know that you have a great life , yes you've had set backs , and you've lost so much .. but from the stories you told me you have alot of things too ..
