Chapter 32 : The Letter...

Barry healed very quickly , he was now more faster than ever .. caitlin ran ever possible test on him , making sure he was completely okay .. he watched her do everything quitely .. not speaking anything about the moment that hapened between them or almost happened between them ..

He wanted to tell her how much he loved her , how much he wanted to be close to her , to kiss her .. but he knew that with her , he might have to take things slowly .. she was delicate .. like a fliwer that he wanted to keep forever close to his heart ..

But she was trying her best to avoid him .. everything that she felt for him , was brought back by his sudden intimacy .. she didnt know why he did what he did .. but she didnt wanted to let go of control .. she might end up hurt .. or worse he might end up hurt .. and their friendship might suffer ..

"Cait , im fine " he said , easing the tension on her face ..

She turned to look at him .. why was she avoiding him , he was Barry Allen , her best friend , an human .. he didnt deserve to be avoided ..

She smiled at him , looked down at her feet and then back up ..

"You should rest " she kindly said to him

"I'm okay I feel fine  " he adds ..

"Its still the middle of the night .. all of us could use a good night sleep.. rest up okay " she came closer to him , tucking him in ..

It was unusuall for him , nobody had ever done it for a long time .. it felt like she was protecting him .. and that's how he felt , protected ..

He smiled just watching her go .. he closed his eyes .. thinking of her , hoping that he'd be dreaming of her ..

*The Next Morning*

"Splash thud bhutt " noises woke caitlin and iris up ..

"What the hell ?" Iris said standing up , she was so sure , a meta human had attacked them , but how could it be , they've just defeated zoom ..

"Here " caitlin hands a power gun to iris and takes one for herself .. they slowly walked to the cortex , from where the voices originated .. they were frightened but they were being brave with all the courage in them ..

They slowly enter to the cortex , and couldnt believe what they saw .. they lowered their guns looking at a freaked out barry , who was may be trying to find someone .. his suite was upside down , the dummy that puts the suit in was laying on the floor "well that explains the thud " iris commented looking af the dummy

"Barry whats all this " caitlin asked confused .. he said he was alright last night although this doesnt seem alright

"My suit , the one I was wearing last night " he scratched the back of his head , he was freaked for some reason

"Where is it ?" He asked
"Thats it " iris pointed to the suit that laid on the floor

Varry looked at it but he was sure it wasnt it . "No I checked it ... " he said but checked it for what the girls thought

"Did somebody touch it , checked it ?"'hecasked coming towards them hyped

"Cisco cleaned it " said iris "can you ask him if he found something ,anything plz" he desperately asked iris ...

"Yeah , yeah sure .. I'll be back " she said assuring him

Ccaitlin stood behind through all of this as iris went outside , he entered the room , Barry was closed to crying , he teared up .. how could he loose it , how could he loose the one memory of her ..

Before even reading it ..

Caitlin came close to him .." is this what you're looking for ?" She said sliding a letter towards barry ..

Barry turned at her words , looking at the letter she had just put down on the table . 

His eyes sparkled with happiness , without wasting a second , he grabbed the letter .. giving out a sigh of relieve ..

"how do you have it ?" He asked

"Ypu dropped it when you fainted .. I was the closest to you so I kept it " she said .. explaining how she got it ...

"Did you read it ?" He asked ... he was terrified and scared , what would she think , what would her reaction be ..

"No , I haven't " she smiled , turning around about to leave ..

"Cait" he stuttered but called out to her ..

She turned around "hmm?"

"Will you read it for me ?" He asked not sure if it was the right thing to do .. if she was ready for that , if he was ready .. but he knew that he wanted to hear caitlin's words in her voice .. he missed it soo much ..

"Sure " she smiled , she wasn't really sure what was in that letter , but she knew if it would make him happy she would do it ..

She walked over to him , they sat on the stairs of the medical bey ..

"Are you sure about this, you want me t oread it? "she asked one more time confirming it from him ..

"Its nobody eles I'll hear it from " he smiled , holding himself together , he didnt know what was in that letter .. and he was fightened , and sad all at the same time ..

Caitlin took a deep breath and opened the letter .. and she started reading it ..

* Dear Barry !
  Barry Allen , The Flash ... you're reading my letter , That means you're back home ... that means I'm not with you  , God I was looking forward to that Hamptons trip you kept bragging about  ... " caitlin looks at barry , who had tears in his eyes , and she was only at the start of this letter , she wondered who had this kind of gripp over him ..

She wondered who this letter was from ..
