Chapter 31 : she is okay..

"Caitlin " he rushed in with only one name on his lips ..

Iris and joe stood up from the couch , looking at the terrified look on barry's face , both were worried and couldn't understand what couldve happen in just these few minutes ?.. cisco and wally walked into the hall from kitchen hearing sudden rush of wind coming into the house , for a moment they might've thought that zoom came back .. they sighed with relieve looking at barry , it wasnt zoom but they were confused with barry's condition

His face bruised , looked like he had been in a fight , like someone beat him good ..

"Barry , are you okay what happened ? " iris said coming closer to barry ,

Barry was tracing the room for caitlin , how could this be possible he made it back and everyone was there except for her , how could caitlin not be here .. What did he do wrong ? He was freaking out inside ..

He stopped iris at her spot "where's caitlin ?" He asked again now tearing up ..

"Im here "  the only voice that he wanted to hear came from behind him , he finally felt his heart beating , his world whole again , she was okay , she was alive .. he turn around , looking at her beautiful face ,unaware of anything he had done ,as pure as the love he was feeling for her right now ..

She looked at him in confusion but when he turned her confusion turned into worry , he was hurt , his face a little bruised , sure he was starting to heal but why was he hurt ..

"Barry?" She said coming closer
"Caitlin" he said with  smile of relieve on his face he walk towards her and hugged her , she was surprised but she didnt mind , it was barry allen , her best friend , she embraced him , her arm curled up around him letting him rest on her shoulder ..

Barry was finally at peace ..  she was in his arms , safe and sound , and safe and sound is what he will always keep her , near him , in his arms .. he tightens his grip ..

"Caitlin .. I lo.." he begin but dizziness took over his brain , the room started to get hazzy , and everything fadded to black , he dropped unconsious in her arms 

caitlin felt his arms dropped , she immediately understood that he had lost consciousness

"Barry " she yelled with fear , trying to hold him straight , she gently laid him down to the couch besides them .. she stroked barry's face "barry " she whispered thinking about what he was gonna say , was it what she thought it was .. why did he faint , what happened to him , her heart beating fast

"barry , whats happening ?" Iris came to him running , caitlin felt a stone hitting her , looking at iris she felt disappointed , but right now it wasnt important , what was important was that barry was okay .. she checked his pulse and placed a hand on his heart ..

"His heart is racing fast " she looked at wally "you have to get him to the lab " she said ..

Wally nodded and carried barry and sped to star labs , leaving barry there he came back in a sec and took caitlin with him to the lab .. every one eles got in their car to drive there ..

2 hours later ,

Cisco , joe , wally were there sleeping outside on the chairs .. caitlin was inside , sleeping on a chair near barry ..

Barry slowly opened his eyes , his head spinning , his vission blurred , trying to focus on where he was , the last thing he remembered was caitlin in his arms , he was going to tell her he loves her .. what happened then , how did he got here ..

He opened his eyes , to find he was in STAR labs , caitlin was seated in a chair with her head rested on the back of the chair , her eyes closed , it was 2 Am .. he looked at the clock and then back at caitlin , he didint feel the need to say anything or wake her up , or even move a bit .. he just looked at her fondly .. remembering every moment he had with his caitlin ... every hug , every kiss , every touch ... every smile that she had pass him, whenever he needed someone , there she was with open arms .. and now he realized , he wasnt just remembering the Caitlin from flashpoint but also this caitlin , his caitlin ... she was the same , always there for him , her hugs comforting him in the toughest of situation , her smile warming up his heart ..

A smile curved on his lips .. he moved to turn to her , and she suddenly woke up with his movement , like she was waiting for him to make any move ..

"Barry " she smiled , looking at him awake

"How are you feeling ?" She asked standing up with her stethoscope and putting it on his heart

He smiled with her gesture "I feel fine " he said , she was now checking his pulse , and doing random chest check ups sensing any sign of edema or obstructions ..

From the look of her face barry could easily guess that she was really worried .. he grabbed her hand and rested it  on his chest "cait , im fine " he said .. smiling at her ..

With his touch she smiled back at him with relieve that he was okay , she was also confused as to what would cause this , but right now she was just happy that he was okay ..

"Oky good" She looked at him , his smile lighter than this world , she had never seen him smile like this .. its like he was relieved , happy , sad , broken and in love .. all at the same time ..

He gazed at her for a few more moments than took the hand he was holding to his lips and kissed it , gently "Thankyou" he said ... gazing back at her

She felt a shy smile reaching her lips , her cheeks a little pink .. what had gotten into him , she thought .. whatever it was , she wasn't complaining  ... after soo long of suppressing her feelings , may be he finally noticed her ..

"Thankyou for everything , for taking care of me, for supporting me , for encouraging me ,for telling me to do the right thing even though its the hardest and for always be there " he said again .. as he thought about every thing she had done for him ..

"Barry " she said under her breath .. he sat up supporting the pillows , making room for her to sit .. she sat besides him ..

"You dont ever need to thank me, you're my best friend , I would do anything for you  " she said her hand raised to his cheek stroking it .. her touch reminding him of the countless moments with his caitlin .. he looked into her eyes with love and affection and he saw every ounce of that efeection returning back to him in her eyes .. he grabbed the hand of hers that was on his face , he felt the need to be closer to her right this second , he couldnt take anymore of distance from her ..

He leaned in , slowly , slow enough for each of them to feel eachother's breath on their faces , stoping at every inch , he gets closer with her permission  ...

her eyes set on his , not knowing what it was that was pulling them together , she was under his spell , she couldnt move , she was frozen with his breath ..

He moved closer , only an inch of distance to cover before he could touch her sweet lips again , before he can make her his ..

placing his hand on her cheek ,He takes a breath , and oh !  was she waiting for this moment for 2 years and now it was finally here .. ..

"Is he awake " iris's voice came running in the medical bey , as she ran in to see barry ..

Barry and caitlin immediately broke contact , caitlin stood up , a pillow fell of from her sudden move , barry jerked up to sit back and ends up hitting his head to the back of the bed ..

"Ouuww" he groans touching the back of his head .. iris runs towards him "hey , easy, whats wrong with you today ?" She goes to him, helping him ..

While caitlin takes a step back , tucking her hair behind her ear , she tries to catch her breath , she suddenly realized what was happening .. barry looks at her and she catches his eye but unable to look at him , she turns around as cisco wally and joe also enter the area ..

"How is he doing ?" Joe asked caitlin , all four of them making a circle at barry , making it impossible for him to look at her ..

"He is fine , he is okay " she said , trying to fake her calm voice..

"Im gonna go get some air , ill be back , dont smother him you guys " she nervously smiled ..  walking out , he looked at her walk away and couldnt do anything because of the crowd of worried people around him... 

But he wasnt gonna let her go this time ... not ever again .. :)
