You could swear, that this was the worst morning you've ever had.

You were in the bathroom, the door was locked and you were holding a pregnancy test in your hands...and these two red lines were killing you.

How could you get pregnant? You remembered, that you and Dazai were using a condom each time you've done it...well, there was just one time two weeks ago, when you decided to do it without a condom, but you were taking pills against pregnancy...or were they overdue?

"Darling, is everything fine?" Dazai asked you from behind the door "You've been in there for quite a long time."

"I'm not feeling good. I feel like I can vomit..." You lied "Don't worry. It's just a usual stomachache."

"Are you sure, that I don't have to worry?" He asked again "(Y/N), can I come in? Please?"

"No!"  You answered immediately "I-I don't want you to see me in this state. Please..."

"Can I do something for you then?" Dazai asked

"No...just let me be alone for now. This feeling will go away soon." You answered

You had no idea, what you had to do now. Well, you definitely had to tell this to Dazai, but...what if he would leave you? You had no idea wether he wanted kids or not. All you could do was just hope, that he did.

Dazai left and you were now home alone. You didn't go to the ADA with him because you said, that you were feeling really badly and couldn't leave home for too long.

It was an obvious lie.

The truth was, that you were scared. It was all because of that child, that was slowly growing right inside of you and somehow, this feeling made a strange warm spread through out all your body. Actually, you wanted the child and were scared of it at the same time. The thing is that you've heard quite a lot of stories about men leaving their wives after the birth of a child. Sometimes women gain weight after pregnancy and usually, there's not much time left for an intimacy because of this. But the worse is that men...

They can cheat.

This is even worse, than being divorced. Divorce means, that one simply does not feel same feelings to the other like a couple of years before, but cheating is worse. It's a lie. Lie is like holding a bloody knife behind your back and trying to hide it. Lie is much more painful and disgusting, than just a change.

And this was what you feared.

You wanted your relationship to remain the same. You wanted it to be romantic, fluffy and passionate like it was now even after a birth of a child.

And what will your parents say? And all other relatives? You two were engaged, but not married. Plus, they could think, that you were too young to have a child. And if he would leave you...what will your life be like? It would be hard, definitely. How would you work and look after a child alone? Will you survive it all? You wouldn't even be able to commit suicide because it's awful to leave your child alone like that.

It was one of the worst things, that has ever happened with you. It may be the best as well, but there were too many "what if"s. For example, what if there would be something wrong with the child? Or something wrong with you? Some women die, while giving birth to a child. What if you'd be one of them?

There were too many questions in your head and there was just one way to find the answers: to ask Dazai. But he wasn't gong to come home soon. He just left to work. You already regretted, that you told him to leave. You will have to wait for at least 5 hours for him to come back home.

It definitely will be a long day.

"Darling, it was so delicious~! Thank you so much, my love~" Dazai said once you two finished eating supper.

"I'm glad, that you like it." You smiled softly

"Is everything alright?" Dazai asked "You said, that you're feeling okay now, but it doesn't seem so."

"I'm just...worried." You confessed

"Worried? Why, love?" He asked and took your hand in his

"Well...you see...I...er...how to say it...I am..."

"Pregnant?"

Your eyes widened and you even coughed hardly so that Dazai had to clap you on your back to stop it.

"H-How did y-you know?" You asked him

"Darling, it's obvious~" He answered "You vomited in the morning, you were having mood swings, you eat some strange...things recently and we didn't use a condom~ I knew, that you're pregnant long ago~!"

"So...what's your answer?" You asked him that one question, which was torturing you all this time

"What do you mean?" He blinked "I can't wait to see my princess or my prince~! I'd love to have kids with you. Our kids. We'll marry soon and we'll be the happiest family in the world! And I'm sure, that you'll look pretty with a belly~! Our kid will have the sexiest mom ever~!"

Dazai then leaned to your stomach and kissed it before whispering against it

"Come sooner, sweetheart. This world is waiting for you. And it's me, your dad~ I promise, I'll be the best dad in the world~! I know, what it's like to have a rough childhood so I'll make sure, that you will have the happiest one~ and no matter what, I'll love you~" Dazai whispered

"And you'll love me no matter what too?" You asked him

Dazai lifted his head to look you in the eyes

"Of course! (Y/N), why are you asking it all of a sudden? Isn't it clear?" He asked "What were you thinking, huh?"

"Nothing much! I was just a little nervous..."
