You were in your room. Door locked. You were alone. You were nervous. Very nervous.

You stepped on the weigher and your whole body tensed as you waited to see the result. It was always a scary moment for you.

Your eyes widened and you swore, you heard how your heart missed a bit.

Your wight got a bit bigger.

It sounded like a sentence to you. You worked so hard to get thinner. You were doing sports every day, you tried to eat as less as possible, yet the weight didn't go away. And how did it manage to get bigger?

You stepped off of it and went to the bed because you were so terrified, that you weren't sure, that you were able to stand properly.

"He'll leave me" You thought "He'll leave me if I don't get thinner. He will stop liking me. No one will like me if I wouldn't lose weight. I'll be alone. I'll be alone. Alone forever..."

"Um...(Y/N)?" Atsushi called you from the next room "Are you okay? You've been in there for quite a long time..."

You tried to calm yourself down because you were on the verge of crying and make your voice sound normal

"I'm fine!" You managed to say

"You sure?" He asked again "You don't sound as if you were okay. Can I come in?"

You flinched

"No!! No, don't come!! I'm really fine! I..."

"(Y/N), I'm worrying. What's going on?" He interrupted you

"Really nothing!!" Your voice cracked a bit "I'm fine, Atsushi."

"Then let me make sure, that you really are fine." He said "I'm coming in..."

"No! Wait..."

The door opened before you could finish and Atsushi stepped in

"(Y/N)?" He said "You look upset. What happened?"

He walked to the bed and sat next to you taking your hand in his

"Atsushi...everything is really fine..." You repeated again

"Please, be honest with me." He asked "I see that something is wrong."

You looked away and bit your lip

"Don't tell him. Don't tell him. Don't bother him with your problems. He'll get bored and leave."

"(Y/N)..." His grip on your hand tightens "You can tell me everything, you know."

After a couple of seconds, you finally decided to tell him

"Atsushi...do you like chubby girls?" You asked

He got stunned at first

"Why are you asking this?" He asked

"Answer me first." You demanded

"I don't care what the girl looks like." He replied "The most important is her character and soul. If she is nice and kind, I'll love her. If her character is awful, I wouldn't love her no matter how pretty and hot she is. She may be pretty, but not beautiful."

Your eyes widen

"You really think so?" You asked

"Sure!" He smiled softly "Now tell me why were you asking this?"

"I..." You started "I gained weight again..."

"And that's bothering you?" He asked

"Yeah...I'm afraid you won't love me anymore if I'd be fat..." You confessed

"What?!" His eyes widened "How could you think so?! I'll always love you no matter what!!"

He wrapped his hands around your waist and hugged you tightly

"Really?" You asked in disbelief

"Yes!" He answered "And you know why? Because other girls are pretty and you are beautiful! There's a big difficulty between these words, although not everyone understands it."

You hugged him back tightly and kissed his cheek

"Atsushi, you're the best! I love you!" You said

He smiled at your cute reaction and kissed the top of your head

"I love you too." He said "And I'll do everything to make you happy."

There's a very big difference between being pretty and beautiful. The true beauty is when your looks outside match with your insides. The true beauty is not only about outside looks. It's also about being kind to everyone. If you are attractive on the outside, but ugly on the inside, then you're not beautiful. You are  just pretty.
