"Right.... umm.. I think we're ready, Mist." Ash said. "Daddy!" Andrewsquealed as he ran down the stairs of the Ketchum household. "I want to come too!" He exclaimed, jumping up and down. Ash exchanged glances with Misty.

Ash then knelt down so he was his son's height. "Andrew, this is just for mommy and daddy," he explained. "Maybe another time. Why don't you go and play with your sister?"

Andrew frowned. "Because I don't like her." He said, blinking his blue eyes. Ash looked at Misty. "Brock will be here soon," he said to Andrew. "Why don't you go play with Pikachu for now?" Ash suggested to his five-year-old. Andrew shook his head. "I wanna come with you," he said again.

Ash sighed. He stood up and whispered to Misty. "I guess we'll have to cancel... again." He sighed. Misty nodded. "I'll call Brock, then May." She said back. Ash nodded.

"C'mere, Andrew. Let's go and play with Pikachu, your sister, and Azurill in the backyard." Ash said, picking up Andrew in his arms. "Can we go to Professor Oak's?!" Maria asked excitedly, running down the stairs a few minutes ago, she had heard the rest of the conversation.

Ash shrugged. "If you want to go," he looked at Misty, who had quickly called May and Brock. The family of four walked out of the door and walked up to Professor Oak's. Andrew and Maria ran ahead, Misty and Ash walked behind them.

Ash slipped his hand into Misty's. He smiled at her.

K so that was pretty bad but idk I was out of ideas :( hopefully I'll get inspired soon lol so I guess that means not updating for a while or just short and bad ones ahaha
