I don't know if this is against the rules, but this fic is the first part to part H, I just know it fits well together :D

"So, Misty," Dawn said. "What did you want to tell us?"

"My plan, I guess," Misty laughed. "I mean, not really.. I guess all I want to say is that I've got a boyfriend now," she smiled.

May raised and eyebrow. "Tell me it's Ash,"

"Are you dating Drew?" Misty questioned. May blushed. "No..."
"Exactly," Misty said, looking at her two best friends.

"WAIT. WHAT?" Brock exclaimed. "You're not?" Misty shook her head. (Am I evil now)

"B-but- it can't- you can't- you- you still like him, right?"

"Yeah.. I guess." Misty blushed a bit. "But, you see, I'm hoping he'll get jealous.. and maybe.. I don't really know," she admitted.

"Oh.. he will.." Brock muttered. No one heard.

"When are you going to tell him?" May asked. "I don't know, when I get around to it?" Misty shrugged. "I haven't really thought about it too much."

"Well.. what's his name?"
"Liam."
"Age?"
"Our age, Dawn. 17."
"Is he hot?"
"Who is hot?" A new voice piped in. Everyone turned to see Ash. "Well, Ash, Misty just told us some interesting information." Brock coughed, signalling for Misty to tell him.

"Well.. Dawn was just asking if my boyfriend was hot, so... I don't really know, Dawn." Misty said quickly. Ash frowned.

"Oh. I- I didn't know you-"

"Yeah... I do."

Ash's shoulders slumped. "I'm gonna go and.. u-umm... t-train for a while.." he said sadly. He turned and walked away. Everyone turned to Misty.

"What?" She snapped. "Go and talk to him, Misty," Dawn encouraged. "No, I will." Brock stood up and followed Ash.

"Feeling okay?" Brock asked. Ash shook his head. "She didn't even tell me," Ash's words were slow and you could tell he was deeply hurt.

"I thought she actually liked me, Brock..."

"Oh please, Ash. She's probably barely known him as long as she's known you. She probably met him just a while ago." Brock comforted. Ash shrugged.

"I guess," Ash replied. "He seems... I don't know, just sketchy, y'know? I haven't even met him yet, and I- I don't know."

"I agree, Ash, but maybe we should get back to them. It's getting late."
