"Hey.. umm.. Mist?" Ash asked. Misty didn't look up from her magazine. "Yeah?"

They had been "hanging out" for the past hour. They hadn't talked much, Misty had kept reading and Ash had just seemed to.. think.

"I... I think I'm in love."
Misty almost choked on air.

Did Ash Ketchum, the densest person alive, just say he was in love?

"Brock says he knows I am.. apparently..." he mumbled. "I guess I wanted to.. tell you.. well.. Brock said I should- seeing as you're the one I- you're my best friend, so.." His voice trailed off. Misty looked at him.

"Who is it?" She demanded. I'm going to murder her.. She thought to herself. "Why.. would I tell you...?" Ash said teasingly. He seemed unstable.

"Because."
"Because isn't an explanation."
"Stop being so smart, Ash."
"Then why should I tell you?"
"Because, as you said, I'm your best friend. Don't best friends tell each other everything?"

Ash sighed, giving up. He stood up and looked at her, only to pull her up and kiss her passionately on the lips.

Ok so apparently it didn't save when I published so it just had to cut of and I had to forget the original ending so there you get a dumb and a weak ending. I have a really good (two) ideas, one is going to be a songfic and then the other is going to be about the Ash and Misty fanpage/club/base :) idk where I get my ideas but hey, they're original :D
