Callum POV

It was 5 pm. I was now in my room, calling Eli. I was supposed to do my homework but I couldn't focus at all.

"Someone did what!?" Eli was shouting at me from the other side of the line. I jerked my head a little bit away from the phone to avoid his scream.

"Blackmailing me and asking me out at the same time." I told him once again. I sighed at the phone.

I decided to tell him about the incident with Liam in P.E Class this noon. I was feeling frustrated and angry at that crazy senior but I couldn't do anything about it. He holds my biggest secret and no one should know about it.

"Someone was listening to us at the party, Eli. He knows about it, about me, about Mason." I bit my lips.

"And you agree to go out with him." He deadpanned, disappointed at me. I message my forehead with my thumb and index finger, feeling my pulsed may blow up any minute.

"What do you expect? What am I supposed to do besides accepting his ridiculous request? This is the only way to keep his mouth shut." I snapped at him.

I could heard Eli grumbled, maybe he feels frustrated too at my own stupid decision.

"He can't do that to you, Callum! No one in the right mind would ask someone out through a blackmail? What would you do if he demands to sleep with you!?" I couldn't respond to that. I wasn't thinking that far away yet.

"And who the hell is this guy anyway?" Eli sounds very angry.

"My Senior. His name is Liam. We have P.E. class together."

"Liam? Liam who?" He asked a bit hasty.

"I don't know. I even barely knew the guy." I scoffed at myself. I sound very stupid right now. How could you even go out with a person if you barely know them?

"Let me know if his name was Liam Blackwell." Eli said.

"And why is that?"

"Because he's bad news. And I heard he went to the same school as yours." His tone was dark and grim. Maybe one of his ex? I took mental note on this.

"Ok. Got it." I could hear him sighed.

"Have you told Dylan and Alaina about this?"

"No. I can't tell them. They didn't now about my feeling for Mason remember?" I could hear Eli gave another sighed on the phone. Poor guy, I think I have troubled him enough with my problems these days. Maybe I should treat him a coffee or food next time we meet.

"I think it's better if you told them the truth, Callum. And let them help you solved the problem with that bastard before it got out of hand."

Actually I kind of agree with Eli's advice. But right now, I wasn't ready to tell Alaina and Dylan about my true feeling for Mason. I didn't want them to act awkward whenever Mason was involved.

There were also a high possibility for Alaina to confront Mason directly and slapped him hard to make him realize about my feeling for him.

No, I wasn't ready for that.

Wouldn't it be funny when the one who spilled the bean wasn't the one who actually blackmail you but your best friend instead? Beside, this blackmail thing was my problem to begin with. I couldn't possible get them involved to something troublesome like this.

"I can't, Eli. I wasn't ready to tell them yet. Beside this is my problem. It's better to let me handle it myself." I told him dead serious.

"Ok, I get it. But you need to do something about it. Found his weakness or something and blackmailing him in return so that guy can't pushed you around." I couldn't help but chuckled hearing his advice.
