Song for this Chapter: Barns Courtney - Champion (Liam's song, so sexy & badass)
----------------------------------

Callum POV

Liam knocked on the door three times and called out Mark the moment we had finished our talk. I heard the door was unlocked and Mark had opened it for us. When I stepped outside of his bedroom, Emily approached me and gave me a big bear hug. She felt bad for deceiving me and had apologized repeatly.

It wasn't 100% lie when Emily said she needed someone to help her in writing and she wonder if I was still willing to brainstorm with her when I had the time. She also promised to treat me lunch as a peace offering. I didn't have the heart to reject her so I agreed to help her in the near future.

Liam took me home after that. I declined his offer at first but he kept insisting to drive me home no matter what it takes so I didn't had a choice but to accepted his offer. It wasn't a bad idea anyway because I didn't know how to get back on my own if I couldn't catch a cab. Mark's house was the opposite direction of my house so it would take a long time to reach home by foot.

It was around 5pm when I arrived in front of my two-stories house. I saw several cars were parked at my driveway and noticed immediately who the owners were. I used to ride it with them in the past, for going to school or when we were hanging out at the mall. The familiar silver Subaru Crosstrek on the right side was Mason's while the other one on the left, the blue Chevrolet Cruze, was Dylan's car. Maybe they were hanging out with my brother?

This was one of the worse parts when the guy you despised the most was dating your sibling. He could come and go to your house simply just to meet with your sister, or brother in my case. I didn't want to deal with Mason or anything related to him right now so maybe it was better to go somewhere else, like Edgar's cafe for example, until Mason left. Of course it was better to go there alone so I'd wait for Liam to drive off first before I took my leave.

"Cal, here's your home." Liam unlocked the car door for me but the curiousity got him first when he noticed I was reluctant to get off of his car. "Is there something wrong?" His eyes were following mine and saw the silver and blue vehicles beside my yard. "Whose cars are those?" He jabbed his thumb to the direction of the objects of interest.

"Umm... Don't know. Connor friends' maybe." I muttered, lying to him. I didn't know what Liam would do to Mason if he knew he was here at my home so I decided to hide it from him.

Liam kept staring at me, analyzing my behavior through his darken pupils. It made me self- conscious and uncomfortable being stared intensely like that. "You sure?" His voice was deeper than usual. He seemed suspicious with my vague answer.

"Yup." I gave Liam a nod with a smile to reassure him.

Before Liam could ask anything else, I took off my seatbelt, gave him my 'thanks' and quickly open the passanger door to get out of his car. One of my feet had just touched the ground when Liam stop me, "Wait" he said.

I cursed under my breath, hoping he would not do anything stupid before tilting my head to face him. "What?" I asked with a calm face, trying to maintain my blank expression so Liam wouldn't notice my distress.

His eyes were darting between me and the view behind me, that I assumed were the two cars in front of my house. I held my breath for a few a second, praying he would just to leave immediately.

Sadly, my prayer was not being answered. Liam decided to kill his engine and get off of his car. He then walked casually towards my house, leaving me speechless at the side of his car.

"Wha... What are you doing!? Aren't you going home?" I didn't mean to be rude to him but I panicked when he nonchalantly stop at my driveway, waiting for me to follow him. Don't tell me he wanted to visit my house?
