Callum POV

I was still in a cold war with Alaina. It had been 2 days since our last fight in Dylan's car and we didn't get a chance to talk it out because of Liam.

Liam kept approached me yesterday. He even drove me home after school. That was one of the reasons why Alaina didn't want to talk to me. She detested Liam. Whenever there was Liam, Alaina would keep herself away.

From yesterday morning Liam has visited me at my locker. All he did was teasing me in front of Alaina. I think Liam noticed that Alaina didn't like him so he kept bothering her by being closed to me.

At lunchtime, Liam invited me to eat lunch with him. Instead of eating in the cafeteria, he dragged me out to eat at the School Park. That's why I didn't join the group yesterday.

Since the beginning of my school life, that was the first time that I didn't have one of my best friend tagged along with me. Usually either it was Mason, Alaina or Dylan who always by my side whenever we had lunch at school.

It was a little odd without them but it didn't bother me too much. I think I could even get used to it. The four of us couldn't always stay together forever right? If I wanted to grow up, this was a way to learn it. And with this, I also could move on from Mason little by little.

Having a lunch together with Liam wasn't as bad as I thought it would. I was being cautious with him since he was the infamous guy who forced me to date him by using a blackmail.

I need to put some distance if I want to play it safe. But I need to gain his trust so I could get his weaknesses and turns the table on him. It was a tough situation and I know I was playing with fire here. But with my current condition I didn't have a choice. I had to do it.

And it didn't help at all with Liam's personality. I wouldn't lie with myself. Liam was indeed a charming guy when he wasn't teasing me. He was the type of guy who could talk about anything and made it seems interesting to make you actually listened to him.

I think it was the perk of being a playboy. Liam was indeed capable to make his partner swoon with whatever he said and made them fall for him in the end. As in for me, I did enjoy his company only as a friend. I repeat, ONLY as a NORMAL friend.

It was refreshing to talk to him. I never thought that I could have interesting conversations with a guy like Liam. He was the type of a guy that I would never approached in the first place and I thought a guy like him would never attracted to someone geeky like me, especially as a dating partner.

Both of us were the polar opposite and I never thought that our personalities could work for any kind of relationship. Who would've guessed that we did actually have a compatible personality?

I did enjoyed our lunch that day.

I'd also noticed something else about Liam. When I walked with him in the corridor or when we met at my locker, people at our school; especially girls; were eyeing Liam like a hungry beast. It was so scary. Even I could feel their vibe, like they wanted to shredded Liam's cloth and eat his whole body.

I saw some beautiful girls tried to seduce Liam. They threw a wink at him or blatantly acting sexy by showing their cleavage in front of him, which sadly, a failure attempt since Liam didn't spare a glance at them.

There was also a group of popular girl who were giggling so loudly to caught his attention however Liam ignored them and kept talking to me. Maybe one or two time Liam did gave some of the girls a sadistic smirked but that was only to shut them up. And that was it.

I took my hat off to Liam. I never saw anyone like him before. Even Mason or Dylan (before he dated Alaina) would get attracted if the girls was hot enough to made their dick tingling. If Liam were like any normal guy, I bet he would kick me aside and wooing the girls instead. Maybe he used girls too much that now he was bored with them?
