When Ze was ten, he stole Seamus' Gameboy and fed it to their dog.

It goes without saying that Seamus was pissed. He had his copy of the Super Mario Bros. Deluxe in the slot and it was one of his favourite games in his small collection. He had been working all summer to try and beat the game before they both went back to school, so it was actually a miracle that Ze could even get a hold of it since it seemed to always be in his hand or deep in the pocket of his shorts. Seamus had been called by their newly shared mother at the time about having to clean his room which caused him to leave the Gameboy on the coffee table. Ze was sitting on the couch next to Seamus, eying the game.

Once Seamus out of the room, Ze swiped it off the couch and looked at the screen to see where his brother was in the game. He had recently died and ended up back at the first world because of a game over. As a joke, he started provoking their dog saying that if he was a good dog then he could play on Seamus' Gameboy. Without warning, the dog charged up and bit the Gameboy out of Ze's hand; saliva and teeth marks covering the system. Seamus ran in when Ze cried out in pain from the bite marks in his skin. When he had figured out what happened- the fact that his game was now destroyed- his eye slowly lifted to Ze, absolute fury burning in them. It's the one time Seamus has physically laid a hand on Ze with dark intent and Ze had never been more scared of his step brother. It's one of the scariest memories he has of a human being.

Then he met Aleks.

He didn't think that people like Aleks were real. You know, bloodthirsty killers who literally break into a fit of rage at the drop of a hat. He saw a brief bit of it back in Colorado just before the James kill when both of their nerves were on high and all they wanted was to go home. Now, he sees something beyond just a little cabin fever.

He was just minding his own business, tinkering around on his phone and walking through the main hall of his and Seamus' shared home when Aleks bust through the door with Kevin in tow. Aleks didn't even have to speak for Ze to see the absolute inferno of fury burning in his eyes. A few of the house staff had popped their heads out to see what the commotion was and they immediately got their heads blown off once coming into vision. Blood spurted in bursts, staining the marble floors and beige walls. Some of it dripped off the low hanging chandelier just above Ze's head and onto the bridge of his nose.

That's when he knew it was time to run.

His steps pounded on the marble floor and he could feel Aleks hot on his tail, a shot ringing out every once in a while as Ze can assume an innocent house staff member was caught in the cross hairs. He had to get to Seamus, to tell him that Aleks was on a rampage.

He sprinted up the stairs, not daring to look back. He realizes that he's leading Aleks right to Seamus, but he doesn't have much of a choice. He skidded to a halt in front of Seamus' door shouting his name just upon arrival.

He saw Seamus' head perk up to his call. He has to explain quick otherwise things could get even more bloody real quick. “Aleks is-”, he began.

That's when he was checked off to the side, his ass sliding across the floor to hit the wall at the end of the hall. He saw Aleks where he was just standing, gun practically smoking. This is it for him, isn't it? This is where he dies by Aleks' hand, just as he originally feared. He knew it the whole time too. How could he let this go on for so long? How could he-
