Three bodies drop from the ceiling, one expertly rolling the momentum off, one sticking the landing and one falling with a crash onto the concrete followed by a groan of pain. Jordan doesn't break his wicked stare on Aleks, but he does see Aleks flailing his head around to try and see who has dropped in on them. The light from above shines on one small section of the room, letting off a faint hue around the rest of it.

“Ze, lights!”, Jordan sees Aleks perk up at the sound of that voice, as if recognizing it. Jordan presses his foot harder against Aleks' shoulder, keeping him on the ground. Footsteps move all around them and Jordan glares over his shoulder with his ears trained to the movement. Aleks squirms underneath him.

“Jordan! Jordan, are you in here?” That's Dan. He's here and alive and about to watch Jordan stab the life out of someone. No. No, no. That's the last thing he wants. Dan knows what he is, but he's never seen it up close. He's never seen Jordan literally kill someone and that's just embarrassment and guilt like he's never felt before. Why did he have to come? Why did he have to be here? Jordan was so close. Aleks was almost gone-

He just has to fight through. Justice is worth more to him than his pride. For Monica, for James, for Eddie, for everyone and everything Aleks has ever taken from him.

“Jordan, please.”, Aleks begs, “He's important to you, I know that. And Seamus is important to me. Don't kill me now, please. Not in front of them.”

Aleks is offering him a way out. It's a flawed way out of this and it's very tempting for his own fragile ego to just take it. Jordan grits his teeth and shakes his head roughly. He couldn't. He couldn't possibly-

Wait.

That voice. That voice that Aleks recognized. That name.

Seamus.

The lights come on and Jordan has to squeeze his eyes shut to keep them from burning. It's been god knows how long since Jordan's eyes have seen real light that it takes more than the usual amount of time to get used to it. When he opens his eyes, they water at the light, but he can finally see what the room looks like.

It's a plain looking basement, but generous in terms of size. It has concrete everywhere except for the ceiling and Jordan realizes that whoever just barged in on him and Aleks came in through a hidden hatch on the ceiling that comes in from one of the rooms above them. There's no furniture or decorations in the room which leads Jordan to think that this room wasn't meant for anything of the mundane variety. He notices a trail of blood on the floor that goes down towards where his chair was in small, frequent dots as well as one single footprint. Aleks must have killed someone before coming to Jordan and it's reassuring to him that Dan is somewhere in this room with him.

Looking forward, he see something that thrills him as well as terrifies him. Weapons. Blades, guns, swords, axes, anything that could possibly be used to maim, seriously injure or kill are lined up along the wall; some leaning, some strapped by restraints. Jordan has never seen so many weapons at once. Was Aleks planning to use some of those on him; make him suffer and push him to his limits until Jordan simply couldn't go on? Is that what the point of this was?
