The sun is just peaking up over the horizon as Seamus is woken up by Kevin's cold fingers. Kevin touches Seamus' bare shoulder that's peaked out from underneath the blanket. Seamus blinks his eyes open, meeting Kevin's in the sunrise tinted room.
“Now?”, Seamus emits, voice rough. He can see Kevin hesitate at the sound of his morning voice and Seamus tries not to let it get to him. During their brief flirtation, Kevin was really into Seamus' voice when he just wakes up. Seamus hopes that adoration has dispelled through out their separation.
Kevin nods.
One of Seamus' arms comes out from underneath the blanket to peel it back, revealing to Kevin that Aleks is curled into Seamus' side like a kitten to a working furnace. Kevin eyes Seamus darkly, his stare a mix of jealousy and disgust.
“Peel your fuck buddy off you and meet me downstairs. We need to be back here before anyone notices.”, Kevin growls, his voice being the loudest sound in the room. Seamus is taken aback by the force behind it, but Kevin is out of the room before Seamus can even react.
Seamus looks down at Aleks, his hair mused from the night before, sleeping softly against his side. It breaks his heart to leave Aleks here alone especially after the events of yesterday, but he has to protect Aleks from Seamus' own selfishness. Seamus drops a kiss to the younger man's forehead and eases himself away from him. Aleks stirs just as Seamus stands.
“Seamus?”, Aleks' eyes remain closed as he speaks, blindly reaching out for him. “Don't leave.”
Seamus kneels beside the side of the bed, stroking one of his hands down Aleks' back. “Go back to sleep. I'll be back soon.”, he murmurs.
“Don't leave. I'm cold.”, Aleks whines ever so quietly. He must still be at least half asleep because his words are slurring.
Seamus drops one last kiss to his forehead as he stands. “I'll be back for breakfast.”
Aleks makes a soft whining sound, but he eventually rolls over and drifts back to sleep. Seamus watches the whole thing with a slight smile on his face, but it's quickly ruined when he remembers just why he's leaving Aleks alone. He pulls on a shirt and some sweatpants from his closet and lets himself have one last lingering look on Aleks. He leaves the room before he can get too far.
It's all quiet within the house, Seamus' footsteps the only sound and is amplified by echoing off the walls. He runs strands of his hair between his fingers in an attempt to tame it, yawning as he walks down the hall. He begins his descend down the marble stairs, gripping onto the gold coloured hand rail and he spies Kevin in the opposite sitting room, sipping at a drink of some kind.
Suddenly, Seamus is grabbed roughly and thrown into the nearest powder room.
“What the fuck?”, Seamus says, whipping around as he regains his balance. He sees Ze softly closing the door behind him.
Ze turns to face Seamus, expression blank. “Where the hell are you going?”
“Out with Kevin, now let me go.”, Seamus charges forward, but Ze raises his hands in front of him, using Seamus' momentum to push him back.
