"Like the view?" Finn said, walking towards me from behind.
"It's incredible," I replied. He placed his hands on my waist, resting his chin on my shoulder.
He raised his arm, panning his hand across the view, "One day, I'll give you all of this," I could tell he was trying to contain his laughter.
"You're such a dick," I said, pushing him away and turning around, walking backwards.
He raised his eyebrows, "Excuse me? What was that?"
"You're a dick," I shouted louder, giggling.
Finn grinned, and started to run towards me. I sprinted round the glass roof, so that we were opposite each other.
"C'mon Fray, you're not gonna win this," he said, smirking.
"I'm faster than you think," I countered, contemplating whether to run to the ajar door, or around the roof again.
Finn sniggered, before stepping backwards, and getting into a sprint position. It was the moment after he started running that I realised what he was doing. He ran up the arched roof, converse gripping on the glass, and slickly slid down the side, landing infront of me.
"That's not fair, I didn't know that the glass supported heavy weight," I argued. "And you have so practised that."
He snorted and licked his lips, not saying a word. He ran towards me, whilst I pivoted sideways, trying the outrun him, but it was no use, as his strongs arms wrapped round my torso from behind within seconds, lifting me off the ground and spinning me round.
I laughed out loud, kicking my legs about in the air, hair waving around in my face. He slowly set me down on the ground, twisting me round to face him.
"Told you," he whispered, brushing the hair from my face.
"Shut up," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck and bringing him closer to me.
"So you felt something between that kiss then? The other day?" He reminded me about what I had said to him yesterday over our phone call.
"Urgh, yes, just kiss me already," I rolled my eyes.
Finn closed the distance between us, his lips aggresively capturing mine. His hands encircled my waist tightly, whilst he stepped forwards, pressing me against the glass of the roof.
He hungrily kissed me, our lips moving in sync. My fingers pulled at the tufts of hair at the nape of his neck, earning a loud moan from him.
"Jump," he said, in between kisses. I complied, using the roof as leverage, and his hands slid down to cup my thighs.
His lips moved down to my neck, leaving open mouthed kisses until he found my sweet spot, signalled by me groaning out loud. I could feel him smile against my skin as he sucked and nipped the spot, before slowly trailing back up my neck, leaving soft kisses everywhere. Where my shoulders met my neck. Where my neck met my jaw. Behind my ear. Next to my lip. He teased me for what seemed like forever before hovering over my lips and looking me square in the eye. I looked at him, gold flecks glowing in the sunlight. Ivory skin enlightened. His black eye was barely visible. I brushed my thumb over it, before bringing his face towards mine kissing his lips. He pulled away first, resting his forehead on mine.
After a few moments he said, "I care about you, Fray, it's your choice whether you're gonna believe what you hear about me, and what your friends tell you, but you should know that I care about you."
I lifted his head with my hand. "And you should know that I don't believe what they say. They talk about the man who beats up people for fun, and has sex with girls every night, but I don't see that man. I see a caring, funny, handsome man, who puts others before himself. Maybe he can get angry, and maybe he does things without thinking sometimes, but nobody's perfect, right?"
Finn smiled.
"You know what, I think I might care about him back," I said, biting my lip.
"Really?" Finn asked.
"Uh huh," I replied.
Finn let go of my thighs, allowing me to place my feet back on the floor, and grinned. "What I don't understand is, what does a girl like you, see in a guy like me?" He said.
"What's not to see?" I smiled, ruffling his hair and stepping out his grasp. I turned around and headed for the door.
"It's rude to answer a question with a question," he shouted.
I then remembered something, and spun round.
"What time is it?" I asked.
He glanced down at his watch. "9.45, why?"
"Shit, I'm meant to be at work."
