I don't really know what I was most scared of. Liam finding me. Or Finn finding me. Or Louis finding me. Or anyone finding me.

Everywhere I looked masks were being taken off, some stuffed in handbags, others in pockets, others thrown on the ground. To most people there, the night was probably just another oppotunity for a business meeting and a good time.

I didn't want to take my mask off, after having worn it for so long, but I realised there really hadn't been a point in it as so many people had recognised me behind it. I ripped off the pointless piece of clothing and looked at it, wondering why I been in so much awe over it in the first place. It was just a piece of stupid material. It wasn't anything special.

Well it was. Finn had bought it for me.

Finn. Where was he. I needed to find him. I needed to know that he was okay.

I hurried to the stairs, scanning the crowd as I walked down them. Subconsciously, I made my way to Harry, who had stuffed his mask in his back pocket. He turned round when I called for him.

"Where have you been?" He said, anger and worry lacing his voice.

"Do you know where Finn is?" I asked, looking through the unfamiliar faces.

Harry grabbed hold of my arm, making me look at him. "Fray, what have you been doing? Do you know how long you've been gone for? You've had all of us worried sick." He stressed, taking me to the side of the room.

"Well I'm sorry that I bumped into my high school crush who also happens to be another stupid dealer, in the middle of a freaking turnover! I didn't even know what that term meant until tonight!" I whisper shouted.

Harry furrowed his eyebrows, before realisation hit him. He lowered his voice, smirking. "Louis, seriously?" He teased.

"Shut up! He was a high school sweetheart okay!" I slapped his arm. "Now answer my question!"

"Finn went looking for you after you had your little episode." He explained.

I rolled my eyes, staring at him. "If you were in my position right now, you'd understand why I'm so unpredictable today."

He laughed, murmuring a comment, which I thankfully did not understand.

"Do you have a gun too?" I asked, searching the crowd for Finn.

"We all have guns, Fray." He replied.

I looked down, expecting the answer he gave me.

It was at this point that someone cleared there throat behind me. It wasn't Finn. I knew exactly who it was. Harry straightened up and moved infront of me before I could turn around.

"Liam, leave." He said, his voice controlled and authorative.

Liam shook his head. "You know she's my sister, right?" He said, looking at me.

I didn't understand this. I didn't understand what was happening, or what had happened throughout the whole night. I didn't know why my brother never told me what he really did, and I didn't know why he needed to get into that business in the first place. But what I did know, was why he went away all those times back home, and why he never told me exactly what he did. And I knew that he had lied to me for a long time. And I was very, very angry about that.

"It's fine," I said. "I'll speak to him."

"Fray," Harry said, turning to face me. "Don't do this to yourself."

I stared at him.

"Let it go. Finn will be back soon." He said.

I gulped, breaking loose from Harry's grip and following my brother to a secret corridor I had not noticed before. I felt Harry's presence follow behind me, but he stayed by the front of the hallway, where the corridor met the ballroom. His stance had changed completely from his usual slouchiness to undermining and offputting. He looked like someone you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of.
