Thank you so much for 200 reads, I know it's not a lot, but it means a lot to me. On with the story!
Narrative
The night was young, the lights were colorful. The teens were giggling. And it seems to be that Finn and Millie were indirectly trying to make each other jealous. But soon Millie got bored, and decided she didn't care if Finn was jealous or not.
"THEY SEE ME ROLLIN' THEY HATING!" Millie shouts in between fits of giggles, rolling by her friends on her skates while crouching and holding a peace sign up by her cheek.
Oh my god, she's so funny, Romeo thought whilst biting his lip.
This made everyone laugh, especially Caleb, he decided to join her.
"ROLLIN WITH THE HOMIES!" Caleb shouts doing the same as Millie, except he's dabbing instead of holding up a peace sign.
"You know what? I like you Romeo, you should be apart of our group. What do you say?" Gaten says after a long conversation with Romeo.
Romeo smiled, "Yes, I'd like that."
Gaten smiled back just as big.
"Great! It's official!" Noah said excitedly.
"It's always exciting to have a new friend in the group," Sadie says, patting Romeo's shoulder.
Finn didn't say anything, he just tried not to glare at him too much. But it was nearly impossible. This is not cool, he thought. Finn just shut his eyes tight, and tried not to think about the hundreds of outcomes that could result from Romeo joining the group.
Is this the same Romeo that Millie talked about from middle school? If it is the same Romeo, has he changed... or is he up to no good? If it isn't the same Romeo, is he a good guy?
*later that night*
They had left the skating rink and they were going to get some food at Pop's, the local diner. It had great food.(Riverdale reference)
Once they got there, they decided on three large orders of fries, and milkshakes all around. (Everyone chipped in, of course. So the price really wasn't that much.)
"What flavor milkshakes would ya'll like?" The waitress says with a subtle southern accent.
"Chocolate," Caleb, Gaten and Sadie say at the same time. They started to giggle.
"Okay, three chocolates," the waitress scribbled on her notepad.
"How about you?" She pointed towards Romeo.
"Uh, Strawberry."
"Okay, and you?" She looks at Noah.
"Chocolate too, please."
She looks at Millie, and then to Finn.
"Vanilla," they both say in unison. Millie smiles at him, maybe a little to big. Finn bites his lip.
I wonder if her lipgloss is vanilla flavored... Finn wondered.
Millie liked how they both got vanilla, she liked how they said it at the same time.
"Okay, your fries are on the way."
A few minutes later the fries arrived. It was pretty much a contest to see who could get the most fries to fit in their mouth without chewing.
It was close between Millie, Gaten, and Finn. Millie couldn't put another one in and proudly took third place. Slowly chewing the enormous amount of fries in her mouth.
Finn beat Gaten by one fry, who knew his beautiful cheeks could hold so many fries?
During the whole meal, there was a lot of awkward staring between, Millie, Finn and Romeo. Although Millie thought nothing of it, Romeo and Finn's minds were swarming.
It was nearly 10:00 p.m. But it was also Friday night.
"My mom said I could have a sleepover at my house, who's in?" Gaten whispers at the table.
"Me," Caleb and Sadie at the same time.
"I'm down," Finn said while ruffling up his dark curls.
"I'm in," Noah said.
"Same," Millie replied.
There was a silent pause and everybody looked towards Romeo. Both Finn and Millie we're secretly hoping he'd say no. Both of the had completely different reasons, although.
"Sure."
Dammit, Finn thought.
Oh no, Millie thought.
They looked at each other, both with that look on their faces. The seven friends were in for a hell of a night.
To be continued...
