A/N: So the month of October last year is when I first started publishing this book. I went back and read some of the chapters and saw my cringey ass romanization if Korean. It said "yah" "omo" or "pabo" like every other sentence. So just gonna let ya know I'm definitely 100% not going to do that anymore lmao. Sorry for that disservice to all kpop fanfics. Anyways there's another really important author's Note at the end of the chap. Please read that to find out the book's update schedule!
~Nari's POV~
After a day of continuous activity I'd say I was due for some sleep, even if it was only just becoming afternoon. However by this point I have long accepted that life does not share the same ideals as me. Namely because JYP called me as soon as we got home from the store. A few of my songs weren't good enough for the album, so instead of having it be finished and ready to go like I had hoped, I instead now have a new deadline and a lot more all-nighters to pull.
I had been combing through these thoughts while sitting in my bedroom, or I was before a scream that could only be described as feminine echoed throughout the share house. And then a wild Jackson ran into my room.
"What do you want now?" I ask the boy who begins to stumble over his words.
"G-g-g-gaye-e-eon s-she's i-in h-house I-I-I--"
"Gayeon? From the last season of Roommate? Kang Joon told me she'd be coming by to pick up some of her old stuff. Why are you freaking out?" I glance at his shaking figure.
"So pretty...." He whispers whilst departing from reality.
"Hey, if you're going to go into a different realm please do it in a place that isn't here."
Thankfully it was Kang Joon who barged in next, and he dragged Jackson out to meet the guest. I would have gone too, since that's the polite thing to do, however since I'm now swamped with work I won't have much time to spare. Although, the show producers will make me do activities even if I don't want to. The life of living on a television set is so tiresome.
Crew may now be physically filming in the house, but they're always watching through the cameras and sitting in a van across the street in case anything happens. So even if for viewers it looks like we are only followed around by the moving cameras, that's almost entirely wrong. However that doesn't mean I want to leave the show.
Living with H.E.I.R was always fun in our dorms, but after a while our habits became so alike that I felt like I was living with three other versions of me. Therefore, being on this show is a nice change of pace. It's a diverse setting with a bunch of great people and we're always doing something new and different. I won't get tired of this any time in the near future.
I continued to type around on my computer, trying to mix different beats to find one that would finally not sound like a dying dolphin's cries were put in an EDM mashup. Which was hard seeing as JYP asked me to make this particular track EDM. Why must I be forced to do all of this work, those evil company people are taking years off my precious lifespan with all this stress.
Speaking of stress, I have a habit of calling a certain groupmate of mine when I feel like I'll actually punch a wall and break my wrist and all my fingers just so I can avoid work.
That's Eunbi by the way, or BB or whatever. She rarely has a schedule so she usually picks up right away when I call, even more so now that I don't currently live in the dorms with her.
Guess who was wrong? This struggling to stay alive girl! Why is she so unreliable the one time I actually need her company. Sigh.
