"There's a universe in you," Tyler smiles. "You know that, right?"
"Then there's an ocean in you," I smile back, loving the way his hazel eyes study me like I'm the only thing that exists.
"I'm scared of black holes," he repeats, his voice waverin...

"You're literally the worst driver ever," I complained from the backseat of Luna's car as she ran her second stop sign in a row. Unfortunately, she'd been the one to chauffeur us to the park, since Corvettes only had two seats.
"You're still alive, aren't you?" she snapped, earning a laugh from Tyler. Of course, he was sitting in the passengers seat, being subjected to Luna's constant flirting.
It hurt me immensely to wonder if he liked her, so I tried to keep my mind blank for the duration of the car ride.
Tyler's phone rang, and Luna turned down the radio as he began to speak to whoever had called him.
"Yeah? Umm..."
He put his phone down on his lap for a moment, facing Luna. "Hey, how long until we get there?"
"Around 10 minutes."
"Alright," Tyler put his phone back up to his ear, "around ten minutes dude. Yeah... seriously?!" he laughed, face palming, "Alright, whatever. This is gonna be interesting. Bye, see ya."
I frowned as Tyler hung up. Luna, being the nosy idiot she was, decided to speak my mind. "Who was that?"
He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Josh. Apparently, we're gonna have security. 'Safety protocol'," Tyler air quoted sarcastically.
I stopped listening to what they were talking about, distracted by the way Tyler looked in his tuxedo. It reminded me of the day we'd gone to Capa, and he dressed formally in all black.
His attractiveness seemed to have doubled since, and I felt the butterflies in my stomach grow as Tyler rolled his sleeves up and ran a hand through his dark hair — again.
I couldn't seem to pry my eyes off of him — not until he turned around in his seat and cocked his head at me. I quickly looked away in embarrassment, trying to play it off like I'd just zoned out.
"Earth to Jenna? You here?" Tyler asked, waving a hand in front of my face.
I blinked, shrinking back in my seat. "Sorry... what'd you say?"
"I asked if you were ready," he repeated, giving me a weird look.
I glanced out the window, realizing that we'd already arrived. Luna had pulled up to a cleared-out area, which I assumed was for us — or more specifically, for Tyler. There were two barricades put up, and on both sides were masses of well-dressed people, all talking excitedly.
I gulped and nodded at Tyler.
He just raised an eyebrow at me. "Are you sure? You don't look too ready."
