As Tyler and I made our way off of the docks, I noticed that he seemed particularly quiet again.

As soon as Luna spotted him, her hand flew up to her heart like a worried parent. "Where've you been? Everyone's been worried!"

As soon as she saw me trailing right behind Tyler, she faked a smile. "Oh, you guys went off together somewhere," Luna remarked sweetly, "Well, I hope you had fun."

Did she think that Tyler and I did something?

All we were doing on the boardwalk was talking, yet my half-sister was acting like we wandered off into the woods to have sex.

I wish, I thought sarcastically.

"I had to take a quick breather," Tyler assured her, and I rolled my eyes.

Luna huffed to herself. "You guys were gone for an hour-and-a-fucking-half."

My eyes went round, and so did Tyler's. "I didn't think it was that long," I protested.

"Whatever. We have like, 10 minutes before the lineup starts."

I frowned. "Lineup?"

Luna looked at me like I was stupid. "Um, yeah? For jumping into the lake. You are jumping... right?"

My mouth formed an o-shape. "Oh, yeah. I'm jumping," I said, silently hoping that the water wasn't too cold. "Are you jumping Tyler?"

He nodded, and that's when I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I came face-to-face with a wide-eyed Grey. I mouthed 'be right back' to Tyler, and she immediately began to yank me towards an empty gazebo, squealing the whole way there.

"You will not believe what happened," Grey exclaimed, stopping.

I raised an eyebrow at her. "You're pregnant?"

"Nope."

"You're getting married? If you are, let me know so I can-"

"I GOT WESLEY'S NUMBER!" she squealed right in my ear.

"THATS COOL!" I shouted in return, grinning.

Grey shook her head in disbelief. "Why didn't you tell me you guys were related?!"

I shrugged. "Because you didn't ask...?"
