Wesley sat at the end of the kitchen table, staring at the wall blankly. For the past couple of days, Tyler and I had been trying to talk to him, but it was like he'd turned into a rock.I guess it couldn't be easy to accept the fact that your sister tried to kill somebody, but Wesley was acting like the dead one here.
"Why would she do that?" he asks for the fifth time, and I have no words left.
"Jealousy," Tyler repeats, obviously growing exhausted too.
Harmon had managed to calm my mom down. She felt guilty that she'd been proving Luna with shelter and clothes the whole time, but it wasn't her fault. Nobody knew any better, and the past couldn't be changed anyways.
It's like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Of course, I still felt drained, but I also felt ecstatic that I had Tyler back. I also didn't feel as guilty, knowing that he hadn't tried to kill himself because of me.
The only negative emotion I felt was angry, and that was towards my batshit crazy excuse of a half-sister. I only hoped that she would get the punishment that she deserved, but yet, a little part of me pitied her.
She did have schizophrenia, so there was the possibility that she would be sent off to get help, rather than prison. Either way, I knew justice would be served.
Glancing up, I watch Tyler talk to Wesley, his eyes hopeful. Knowing that Tyler had survived all the shit Luna put him through only made me even more grateful.
Finally, he stood up, tugging on my arm. Leaning over, he whispers "I give up," into my ear, and I just nod sadly. I follow Tyler as he takes my trembling hand in his, and leads me outside, all the way to his black car.
"Where're we going?" I ask, not really caring. As long as Tyler was with me, I would walk through the depths of hell.
"Our garden," he smiles, opening the door for me.
"Somewhere only we know," I smile back.

"Hey mom," Tyler greets as we walk through the kitchen of his house, heading towards the stairs that lead to our upstairs garden.
Ms. Joseph completely ignores Tyler, pulling me in for a hug instead. "Hey Jen," she smiles warmly, and I hug her back, smelling a light sprinkle of vanilla and sugar on her shirt. "Whatcha two doing here?"
"We're gonna head upstairs," Tyler interrupts, and his mom winks at him.
"Alright you two."
I fight back a blush as he laughs and takes my hand again. My excitement grows with each step I take, and by the time we reach the door to the garden, my heart feels ready to burst.
"It's been a long time since I've been here," I comment as Tyler turns the knob and pushes the door open, revealing a beautiful sight.
The flowers we planted had bloomed, and hundreds of colors laid scattered around the whole room. A small, red-flowered vine had managed to creep it's way along the bench in the middle of the garden, and with a smile, I realize that it's the same one that I'd seen last time.
Tyler patted the spot next to him, and I sat down, admiring the greenery and sunrise.
I had an overwhelming feeling in my chest, one that was blue and red and purple and many different things.
