Promises

I couldn't wait to update oops sorry.

As Tyler began to drive my car again, I stared down at the phone in my lap, internally groaning.

Luna: where the fuck are you?

Luna: you're not with Grey. Where. Are. You.

I typed her an annoyed message.

Jenna: I AM with Grey. Chill out dude.

Luna: Bullshit.

I didn't know why Luna was texting me all of a sudden, flipping out about where I was. I couldn't just tell her that I was with Tyler heading to who-knows-where. She would raise hell.

So instead of telling Luna the truth like a normal human being, I lied and said I was at Greys house. It obviously wasn't working too well, though.

"You okay Jenna? I've never seem someone look so angry at their lap before," Tyler commented as I glared down at my phone, trying to come up with an excuse that would satisfy my stupid sister.

I glanced at him, biting the tip of my thumb to channel my growing anger elsewhere. "Yeah. I'm peachy."

Tyler looked unsatisfied with my response. "You sure about that?"

"Yeah."

He just let out a quiet 'mmkay' and focused back on the road. I turned my phone back on and stared at it for a few more seconds, finally deciding that I didn't care what Luna thought.

Jenna: if I tell you where I am, will you calm the heck down?

Luna: Sure, why not?

Sighing quietly, I turned the radio up and began to type out my response.

Jenna: Im with Tyler. We're hanging out. Happy now?

I don't think I've ever gotten a quicker response.

Luna: You better be joking me right now.

Jenna: Is there an issue?

Luna: Um, yeah? A big one.

Of course, I thought, Luna has a problem with everything.

Jenna: Ya? What's the issue then?

She didn't reply as quickly this time. Instead, she started to type for a second, then stopped, then started again. When I finally got her message, my heart dropped to the bottom of my chest.
