“God! Do you think you have enough cars? You are only one person Finn. You can’t possibly drive all of these.” Rachel stood in Finn's garage looking at the seven cars and SUV’s as well as the three motorcycles he owned.

“Hey, a man has to get around doesn’t he?” Finn blushed. He really did have a lot of cars.

“Whatever, superstar. You really shouldn’t spend all your money all on this frivolous stuff.” Rachel huffed and crossed the large expanse of the garage to stand next to his convertible.

“Would you stop calling me that?” Finn asked somewhat sadly and came to stand beside her resting on his crutches.

“Sorry. I didn’t say it to be mean, I…”

“I know you didn’t.” Finn pulled out his keys and handed them to her and then made his way over to the passenger’s side. Rachel watched as he placed his crutches one at a time in the back seat before closing the door behind him.

“Are you okay? Did you take your pain medication?” Rachel asked as she placed the key in the ignition.

“I’m fine Rachel. Don’t worry.” She was worried. She didn’t want him to injure himself further and…

“Rach. Stop worrying.” Finn knew her and when he saw her eyes go wild, he knew she was going through different scenarios of what could happen to him.

“Do you still drive as crazy as you used to?” Finn tried to lighten the mood and it worked because she swatted his arm jokingly.

“Shut up! I can drive, Finn. I just used to be nervous with you in the car.” Rachel pulled the car out of the driveway and waited until Finn hit the button to close the garage door before pulling out onto the street. Finn gave her a few directions and they were on their way.

“Nervous, why?” He asked very intrigued. He never knew this.

“Because, I didn’t want to let you down.” Finn was confused, what did she mean by that?

“How did you think you would let me down? You drove perfectly fine, it was your road rage that got a little frightening.” He chuckled to himself remembering how she was.

“You thought I was perfect and I didn’t want you to find out that I wasn’t.” Rachel shrugged and concentrated harder on the road in front of her. The conversation was getting a little intense and she wasn’t ready for it.

“You still are perfect, Rach. Everyone has flaws. Besides, you were the most adorable thing I’d ever seen the day you told off that big burly guy on the way to school.”

“Oh my God! I forgot about that. I was going to beat him with my boot!”

“I know! Too bad the guy wanted to beat my ass and he was huge!” Finn laughed and Rachel couldn’t hold back any longer and joined him.

They shared a few more stories and then there was a blanket of silence. It was almost unbearable for the both of them. Finn didn’t know what to say and they were still a good fifteen minutes from the stadium. Rachel was just as uncomfortable, even the sound of the music wasn’t enough to break the silence. So she finally decided to speak up.

“I’m sorry about before. You know, about calling you a superstar?” Rachel   spoke so softly that Finn had to strain to hear her.

“It’s okay, Rachel. I deserve it.” He stated flatly.

“Why do you keep saying that?” Rachel turned to him quickly. Locking eyes with him before turning her attention back to the road.

Finn just shrugged and looked out his window. “I left you, Rachel. I left you for basketball. I left you to become a big star. It’s all true. I can’t deny it anymore than you can.” Rachel was silent after he spoke. She honestly didn’t know what to say to all of that. Did he mean it? Did he mean that he left her because he wanted to play basketball and become a big star? Or did he mean something else?

The conversation was dropped, but Rachel knew that she couldn’t go on much longer without knowing the whole truth.
