Harder To Breathe (iv)

The man took off the only peace of black clothing that hides his face and it revealed, Park Jimin.

Seulgi's eyes began to widen after seeing the famous Idol's face.

“Jimin sunbaenim?” Seulgi can't help but to ask surely and look closely to the guy, just to make sure that she's not hallucinating.

Because how on earth Kang Seulgi could see a Park Jimin of the famous Kpop Group BTS in the Philippines? Same place as her. She might add.

After second of silenced.

“I didn't know that Red Velvet is here.” Jimin said with a cold deep voice and Seulgi felt something about Jimin words. It was harshness. He sounds nothing—like he didn't care at all and Seulgi didn't see that coming.

She thought he would smile like he always and usually do when they occasionally see both of their group backstage.

But Seulgi realised why would Jimin care anyway? She is not his friend or either work for Big Hit.

Jimin is also not her friend.

Yes, they just have mutual friends like Jongin and Taemin but she's not close with the other dancer and now Seulgi felt really annoyed for accidentally meeting each other.

But Seulgi is still the first one to recover and bowed to Jimin to show her respect and unsurprisingly he did bow to her too after Seulgi.

Like he will never do it if Seulgi didn't do it first.

It irritates her more.

“What are you doing here?” Seulgi said. Now with a hint of a little bit of arrogance and annoyance as if she owns the place. She is now standing with a straight face and silently wishing Jimin would just go away or just vanished because she's starting to become bad which is she's really not.

She wish she's just imagining things so won't feel anything at all.

She really wanted to sit on the swing on her own. Alone with herself but now Seulgi thought it will never happen. So nevermind.

She got there first, Seulgi knew she really is the first one but how on earth out of nowhere Jimin just popped up? He is not even there before when Seulgi saw the swing. No one's there actually.

“Why would I tell you? Who are you to ask?” Jimin said and now with a smirk plastered on his face.

How his cold tune a while ago turn into a playful one?

Seulgi's let a frowned escape her face. Jimin with unbelievable character is alarming. Now Seulgi is really annoyed.

How dare He? Seulgi thought. How dare Park Jimin talk to her that way? Like she's nothing?

Her? Is Jimin blind or something? She is Kang Seulgi, Red Velvet member. The group He and some of his members picked to be the girl group that they wanted to be friends.

No one has the guts to disrespect Seulgi that way, she feels like he's insulting her. It is because BTS is far way more famous than any group?

What is his problem?!

“Sunbaenim, I'm Kang Seulgi of Red Velvet and sorry for asking things, I forgot we're not in some TV show and the camera is off—” Seulgi stopped and breathe to gain her voice again because it was starting to crack up. Seulgi is hyperventilating inside because of anger she's feeling at the moment she said all those words sarcastically.

“I wonder what your fans will think if you if you show them your true color?” Seulgi continued with firm and bold with a disgust visible from her beautiful voice and face. She really made her voice stern and venomous this time. She's hurt and angry and this is what she is when her blood boiled.

She never thought that Jimin is like that because the way he looked and speak on the camera when their group is together is nothing compared to now.

He was nice and cute when his smiling but now, He looks like a different person.

She saw how Jimin forehead form a line after hearing Seulgi and Seulgi smiled winningly when she saw how it affects the man.

Serves him right!

“I love my fans.” Jimin said in an angry tone, gritted teeth. “So are you a supporter?” Jimin added and suddenly walk towards her. 

That sudden movement made Seulgi to move backward.

What is he doing?!

Feeling a little bit off guard she shouted, attempting to stop him from moving towards her. “OF COURSE I'M NOT! WHY WOULD I SUPPORT YOU?! We are rivals remember?”

She doesn't know why she whispered her last sentence. She lied, in fact she is a supporter of the group. Watching and waiting for every comeback to see their dance move because for Seulgi BTS dance is a good one to practice but now?

She will never ever called herself a fan of BTS, not anymore because from now on she hates the group especially Jimin.

She now has a valid reason to hate him more and it added to the fire because Seulgi saw some not good comments before about how their immature fandom works, and how they hated Seulgi and Red Velvet members, well other Red Velvet still like despite the warning especially Yerim.

Seulgi just felt something new and that feeling is hatred. Is it because they're so famous right now? That he thinks highly of himself? Yes Red Velvet never wins against them. Seulgi's accepting the fact whole heartedly.

One of the reasons she got anxious when competing with the highest ranking group.

Just because of one arrogant member of BTS her amazement to the group vanished instantly.

Seulgi's hand is now on Jimin's chest stopping him to move closer to her. He did not even flinch about her loud voice.

She felt awkward, tense and cold.

Seulgi can't even breathe properly.

Then Jimin stop walking but before he goes away from moving forward and wear on his mask on his face again. Seulgi heard him mumbled “I thought so.” between his breath and he sounded really tired.

Jimin saying those words to Seulgi somehow affects her eyesight.

He became a slow motion man to her eyes. Seulgi saw it, before He turn away to walk out is a pained expression. She saw it in their shared monolid eyes.

What she did is right?

Right?

Seulgi thought she would die, die for abnormal breathing.
