Harder To Breathe (xxvi)

Seulgi woke up with Joohyun clutching at her.

Seulgi didn't expect that Joohyun would sleep to her room again or maybe Joohyun is being paranoid that Seulgi will do something stupid again. Guarding the younger to avoid making a mistake. 

Joohyun nowadays is becoming more and more strict.

Joohyun is hugging Seulgi like a child as if it is protecting her and Seulgi can't help but to look at Joohyun's beautiful face.

Who will not fall for this kind of beauty? Seulgi wonder what is happening in this beautiful creature's mind. Is Joohyun angry at her? Will everything be the same again?

Joohyun is so secretive when it comes to herself, the Leader will just share its minor secrets and the basic happenings to her life with them. Nothing more serious.

Seulgi didn't expect anything about Joohyun, a comforting words is not on the list, either. Seulgi knows what she said to Joohyun will complicate things. She told Joohyun about her feelings without expecting kindness and maybe that's a good thing after all. Seulgi didn't get any words but a command.

What a best friend.

"Unnie what's happening to you? You seem lost." Yerim approaches Seulgi in the corner when Joohyun called for a water break.

Seulgi's made a mistake in the choreography, which rarely happened but today, in every song they played Seulgi was slow, out of line, less move, or making a wrong step. It's ruining the dance.

"Here." Joohyun walked towards Seulgi and handed her a bottle of energy drink.

"Thank you." Seulgi appreciate it, she's actually afraid to do things or say something. Joohyun face with no emotion at all when she gave the bottle is enough for Seulgi to be scared.

Joohyun is smiling and jokes around with other Red Velvet members but not with Seulgi.

"Are you two fighting? Seulgi unnie?" Yerim ask again after not getting any answer. The youngest is feeling the tension between the two older Girl.

Are they really fighting? Maybe. Seulgi don't know what is actually happening. Now that she's honest with Joohyun, Juhyun is silently distancing herself.

Seulgi just smile at Yerim and look at Joohyun who's now happily talking with Sooyoung and Seungwan.

"Unnie where is Irene unnie?" Sooyoung said because Seungwan is the one in the kitchen counter. It's Joohyun schedule to cook dinner but when they got home they only saw Yerim and Seungwan.

Seulgi and Sooyoung just got home from guesting a show. After the dance practice Seulgi and Sooyoung got a call from their manager telling them to guests a show right after the practice without telling them earlier.

"Irene unnie's Manager called, I don't know why." Seungwan answered while stirring the food she's cooking.

Seulgi remembered that before they went out of the practice room Joohyun left her belongings to her bag including her phone.

Seulgi thought... Joohyun's habit of not wearing a bag and keeping all her things at Seulgi's bag is not included to their not-so-cold-war.

She decided to go to Joohyun's room, because she have Joohyun's key.

She roamed her eyes to see how organized and clean her Leader's room.

It's Joohyun anyway. The one that is organized.

Seulgi never get a chance to see Joohyun's room after they left their old dorm which is Yerim and Joohyun was a roommate.

Seulgi took her bag and put every little things that owned by Joohyun from her bag in the Leaders mini side table. She can't help but smile when she saw different boxes at Joohyun's place.

There are gifts around.

But soon, Seulgi's smile vanishes in an instant.

Seulgi recognize some letters from fans in the trash bin. Shock expression is clearly visible on Seulgi's faces.

Why did she throw it!? Seulgi madly thought. Then, Joohyun's phone vibrated seeing a certain man calling.
