Harder To Breathe (xxiii)

Seulgi slams the door after entering and everyone looks so shocked because of the sudden noise. 

"Irene unnie, can you tell manager oppa to buy us a treadmill!" Seulgi runs to them in the dining area and shout those words. Everyone is looking at her with wide eyes. Weirded by the main dancer actions.

"Yah Seulgi unnie! I thought we are robbed!" Sooyoung holds her heart as if she was having a heart attack.

"Seulgi unnie why did you slammed the door so hard!?" Yerim shouted. Eyes big and still a little bit afraid. She thought something bad happened.

"I almost got a heart attack!" Seungwan said in full english sentence while nervously laughs.

Seulgi looked at Joohyun waiting for her complaint like the other member but the complaint didn't come instead the Leader was curious about what she said.

"Why do you need a treadmill all of a sudden?" Joohyun put down her spoon that was about to enter her mouth. What she said made all the members look at their Leader more nervously.

Joohyun sounded serious and its scary.

"Because it's dangerous to jog outside?" Seulgi also felt the air that contaminated by Joohyun.

"Joohyun unnie I think Seulgi unnie is right. Why don't you tell manager Oppa?" Sooyoung dared to speak. And makes the atmosphere less hazardous but still Joohyun didn't mind what Sooyoung said.

Actually Joohyun doesn't mind telling what they want to their manager but she was disturb about Seulgi's being at the moment.

And so Joohyun pointed Kang Seulgi's jacket. A New jacket. "What is that?"

Seulgi look at what Joohyun pointed.

"This?" She asked and pointed out what she's wearing.

"A jacket unnie." Seulgi almost cracked her small voice while undoing the hood of the jacket she's wearing.

"I know its a jacket, you dumb bear." Joohyun rolled her eyes.

"Seulgi where is your hoodie? Why are you wearing a jacket this time?" Seungwan questioned innocently and don't realise that she's making Seulgi pressured and troubled once again.

"Unnie?" Yerim and Sooyoung are waiting for her answer too.

"This?" Seulgi pointed herself one more time. It's Jimin's jacket. Unsure of what she will say next.

Think! Think! She scolded her brain.

"A fan gave this to me earlier. A fan." Seulgi finally said something. She smiled hoping for Red Velvet to believe her lies.

"He spotted me and- and I can't say no." She added. She now wanted to be eaten by earth alive. She lied so much.

"Really? Where is your hoodie then?" Joohyun doesn't believe Seulgi's lies. The older Girl stood up eyeing Seulgi's hard.

Seulgi knows that Joohyun will not buy her alibi. 

"My hoodie? I gave it to that fan. Yes I gave it. We exchange clothes." Seulgi smiles again almost reaching her monolid eyes. Even herself can't believe in her own lies.

"Wow. Lucky fan." Seungwan buy her lies and gestures Seulgi to sit for breakfast.

Seulgi looked at them one by one just making sure that they believe her but when her eyes stop at Joohyun who is still standing up and looking intently at her. Seulgi knows that she's screwed.

Joohyun will say something bad.

"I know that piece. Remember watching concert documentaries? It is from BTS world tour and only the members have that. Nice." Joohyun said coldly and walked away.

The sarcasm echoed in Seulgi's ear.

This is bad. Seulgi wanted to cry.
