Harder To Breathe (xiii)

"Yah! Kim Yerim! It's getting late and you're still holding your phone!? Do you want to damage your eyes?!" Joohyun yelled and everyone including Seulgi thrown their phone away. They all felt that Joohyun is not only talking about Yeri but also to them.

And that was another night for Red Velvet.

Seulgi was just playing with her phone and she knows that she's old enough to use it anytime but then, Seulgi is afraid of Joohyun when the Leader becomes bossy and hot headed. Actually everyone does.

"Please lessen the amount of time you use for your phone. Focus on resting."

Because Joohyun is right. It always right. 

11 in the evening and at that they probably closing their eyes but just like an owl in the night, every one of them are still wide awake.

"We have to wake up early!" Joohyun yelled again before going to her assigned room and probably sleep.

The four of them on the living room can't help but laugh nervously. Sometimes Joohyun is acting like a strict mother to them but most of the time Joohyun is like a 2 year old child.

They enjoy seeing the baby most of the time.

"Yah! Yeri'ssi! What are you still looking at?" Sooyoung asked referring to Yeri's phone. Yerim just like a deaf person, still browsing her phone like she didn't hear Joohyun lectures a while ago.

Such a hard headed maknae. Seulgi thought.

Yerim look at them one by one and stop her eyes when it Seulgi's turn. Yerim's eyes stays at her saying something Seulgi can't comprehend.

"What?" Seulgi asked. Actually the way Yerim stare bothered her.

Yerim knows something Seulgi doesn't.

"Nothing unnie." Yerim smiled at her slightly but it was full of sympathy.

Yerim smiled but it feel like Yerim wanted to say she's sorry.

But why? Seulgi asked herself.

She should probably sleep.

"Red Velvet! Ready for five minutes."

It's another comeback stage but this is their last, and surprisingly not scheduled but they were called to perform last minute so they accepted the offer.

The stage is going the final and goodbye stage. Finally they can have their break from promoting themselves.

She can't wait to go home with her family. Seulgi all just wanted was to visit her family. She misses her Father, her Mother and even her annoying Brother.

She wanted to finish their performance ASAP, quickly so she can shut everything down and think nothing but her beloved family.

"Jimin'ssi I bet you didn't know who will perform today?" The host said smirking and asking his guest co-host for the day, Jimin.

As if she was teasing the man.

Unfortunately it was Jimin of BTS.

"No but who is this talented Group?" Jimin answered enthusiastically and smiling but from everyone who knew Jimin, he actually looked puzzled at the moment.

He was just picked up to be the substitute MC for the music bank because the original MC was having trouble and emergency. Jimin and his member was supposed to get home after BTS performance but he was stopped by a director.

Like it was a plan or something.

"It's a special stage and it is Red Velvet!" The main MC shouted mischievously like they did it to surprise Jimin.

Park Jimin is the Guest MC, so much for Seulgi's dislike.

She felt that Joohyun is looking at her at the backstage but Seulgi just ignored the looks coming from Bae Joohyun.

Seulgi ignore everything even her heartbeat that beats so fast. She completely understand now that she needs to stop being affected by Jimin. So Seulgi smiled to everyone like she always does, like Seulgi didn't mind if Jimin-who is having a dating issue with her is just around the corner. Again.

Everything is okay. Seulgi hoped.

So far it was fine until something unbelievable happened.

Seulgi manage to focus. Seulgi manage to divert her attention to their music.

Just their music. Nothing else.

Seulgi dances and sings well but then, one unexpected moment stopped her from moving her body and mouth.

One of the people watching them at the studio shouted something that Kang Seulgi heard for the very first time in her life.

Loud and clear.

"Kang Seulgi! You slut!"
