Harder To Breathe (iii)

"Welcome to the Philippines!"

Seulgi's felt the familiar feeling after they landed to the Filipino land. The heat strikes against her skin and she somehow love the warmth because most of the time Seulgi is experiencing too much cold to their own country like, she's smoking some cigarettes because of the smoke she provided.

Now she can feel the kind of heat southeast Asia can produce.

Red Velvet also arrived in the Philippines way back in 2015 and Seulgi and others literally felt the hot temperature the moment they got out of the airport and they are also wearing a leather jacket..

The Philippines and South Korea had a different weather so she reminded herself to adjust. Adjust by not wearing a jacket this time. A summer clothes is fine for Seulgi and her members decided to wear casual clothing also Seulgi together with other Red Velvet members are wearing black face masks and ball cap to cover and hide their faces and identity.

No one knows that their filming their MV to Philippines.

The other SM crew are already landed hour ago before them to avoid being noticeable.

"Where are we staying at unnie?" Sooyoung asked.

"I heard hotels here are fine." Yerim added to Joy's question while looking at the tinted window.

Seulgi silently listening to every conversation she heard in the van. Sooyoung and Yerim are the most exciting person on the trip, asking so many questions as if they were on a field trip.

"Well my manager said that we're staying to his friend's house." Joohyun said remembering her conversation with her manager back in South Korea.

So we're not staying in any hotel? That's new. Seulgi's mind said then she drifted to sleep after several times of yawning. She didn't get a lot of sleep this past few days because of too many things her group and her solo activities schedules.

She badly wanted to sleep and think nothing but sleep.

"Come on! Wake up everyone!"

Seulgi's eyes slowly open when she felt a tap on her shoulder, she fell asleep and didn't know where they are. She immediately roam her eyes around to know what kind of place they will spend a week.

It's not bad at all. Seulgi thought. The place look fresh and calm, maybe because it's surrounded by trees and plants. Almost all the surrounding id full of green thing that give the freshness and calmness to Seulgi.

She felt relaxed and they will stay at one weird old house that made out of woods but Joohyun assured them that it safe and the interior is different from the outside.

"Daebak! It such a nice place." Seungwan said with an amazed expression visible to her eyes and her smile is glittering like it is the first time she will stay at such a place.

Seulgi, Joohyun and Seungwan decided that they will occupy the first floor while the two maknae is on the second floor.

"Manager'nims and others are not here because they will visit their other friends here. We can have a day to go around or gets some rest." Joohyun said while folding her clothes out of her baggage.

"Jinjja? Wow! Where are we anyway unnie? It's so nice here." Seungwan turn to ask while unpacking her things too. Seunwang is still amazed by the architecture of the house. Its look like some old Spaniards houses seungwan only seen on Television.

On the other hand. Seulgi just shrugs and continue managing her things while everyone is busy with their own things to do. Seulgi doesn't know where they are. She only knows one place here, it's Manila and they will staying one week in the Philippines.

everyone decided to go out.

"We're somewhere in Cavite and please don't attract many people."

Joohyun smiled because of everyone's reaction.

"This smells like downy."

"OMO! I want to touch that dog."

"unnie! unnie! This one look so cute, buy me one!"

"Seulgi'yah! Where are you going?" Seulgi turned her head to see Seungwan eyeing her, her friends eyes were asking where she will go.

Seulgi saw an opportunity to walk on her own when she saw her members enjoying the side market. "I'll just roam around Wannie." She said and her nickname for Seungwan before proceeding to walk away.

"Alright! But don't go too far Seulgi'ah!"

They were having their free time today, so the group decided to go for a walk to spend it while it last and the place looks like a province and the silence is making Seulgi calm once again.

There's so many trees around them. Seulgi wonder if the other places in the Philippines is like Cavite.

It is refreshing to see those tall trees because she was surrounded by tall buildings in Seoul and the people seem to not recognize them or just see them as a tourist or maybe they don't even care and somehow Seulgi felt nice to be nothing at all to people's eyes.

Sometimes she doesn't understand herself about what felt nice.

Seulgi proceed on walking. She is not afraid to walk alone because she saw one of the house caretakers or guards following them one by one but not so obviously so Seulgi still feels comfortable and safe.

Seulgi is now on a park. She thinks she's just meters away from her members so she decided to take some rest.

Silence and comfort is what she felt while looking to the place, she saw a pair of swing and she decided to go for a seat.

Her feet are aching for walking so much, but when she's already halfway in front of the swing, all of a sudden she saw someone occupied the other seat.

How did he got there?

Is he a ghost or something?

OMO! It's getting creepy here.

Wait. I didn't know that people here also like wearing face masks?

Seulgi continue to walk and stand still in front of a man wearing the same mask and cap as her and then things started to cloud her mind while looking at him.

And now that their eyes are both looking to each other.

The man suddenly took off his mask.
