Kyrads POV
The whole day consisted of planning the escape. After Blaeke delivers the book to Kryselis he will make his way to Lumaera the next day and let Krysmond know of everything that has happened. He will inform them of they're part of the plan. He will return on the fourth day. The day the escape were to take place.
Water weakens the Daeths powers. Obviously. Thats why they take to fire. The plan was to flood the city, weaken the Daeth, and get Kryselis out. For this we would need the help of the Lumaerins. The stronger ones who can bend water and move earth.
"Ready?" I ask Blaeke as I hand him the book.
"More than I'll ever be." He grabs the book and hides it in the side bag he will be using as a servant disguise. He was dressed in old ragged beaten up clothes with dirt smudged on them. He had soot on his face and in his hair. You almost couldn't recognize that it was him. It was perfect.
He will deliver Kryselis her food and sneak in the book. He was to quickly tell her of the plans, staying just long enough to deliver the food and leave.
"Right, off you go now. It's time." I watch as Blaeke leaves the room. I grow nervous the moment he steps out the door. I hope this works out. It HAS to work out, we don't have any other choice.
Kryselis has to learn what's in that book in order for this to work. I marked the pages she would need to focus on. If she can do this, the rest of the plan should work on our behalf.
I slowly walk back and forth, pacing the room. Anxiously waiting for Blaekes return. It's only been a few minutes, but those few minutes have felt like hours.
Kryselis POV
The sound of the door opening brought me out of my meditation. I look over my shoulder as a servant covered in dirt walks in with a tray of food. The guards close the door behind him. He walks over to the desk and sets the tray on it.
"I see you've been practicing your meditation. Has it been useful?" he asks me as I slowly stand up. He turns to the tray and and takes the lid off the plate. There was something wrapped in napkins. He picks it up and unwraps it. It was a book.
It suddenly hits me. "You must be Blaeke!" I say a little too excited. He motions for me to quiet down. "Sorry." I whisper, looking down at my feet.
"Yes, I am. But I haven't much time. Just a few moments. There are marked pages in this book you need to focus on. The plan is to cause a huge distraction. When that happens you need to find a way out and meet me." He quickly hands me the book.
"How will I know when to leave?" I ask looking down at the book. It was big. And old.
He removes the plate of food from the tray and picks it up. "You'll know." Was all he said as he walked toward the door. The guards opened it and he disappeared down the hall.
The book he had given me was old. It was covered in old worn leather. There was a symbol of the elements circling a person engraved in blue in the middle. This must be a book about blue magic holders.
I flip to the first marked page. It was titled 'Projection'.
In order to perform any magic in this book you must meditate and become one with it. When you have accomplished this, you will easily succeed the rest.
Step one:
Close your eyes, clear your mind, and take deep breaths.Step two:
Focus on the flow of in energy through the veins. Focus on the power. Feel it. Become it.
