Evan looked over at the smiling Connor, waving to all of the people in the colorful parade. His smile was contagious. Looking back at the ongoing parade, he cheered loudly. He saw a giant bisexual themed float coming, gasping and jumping up and down. Connor watched him do this, swooning over the adorable boy next to him. Suddenly, he interlocked his fingers with the boy's this action being a surprise to both of them.
"O-Oh, I'm sorry...!" Connor tried pulling away, but Evan held his hand tightly. Connor was confused. He was certain Evan would pull away, but quite the opposite happened. He loosened up a bit, smiling at Evan while he watched in wonder as the bisexual float passed them. A girl about their age come over and gave Evan three bead necklaces— one pink, one purple, and one blue. The colors of the bisexual pride flag. Evan beamed and thanked the girl shyly before putting the necklaces on and showing them off to Connor.
"They look great on you!" Connor smiled, wide-eyed and genuinely happy.
"R-Really...? Th-thanks..." Evan's face flushed, which proved Connor's claim that he was adorable true.
"No problem, you cute lil bean." When realizing what Connor said, he blushed deeply, with Evan just as red.
"Th-that did not mean t-to come out..." Connor laughed nervously.
"I kind of, that nickname's c-cool..." Evan looked Connor in the eyes. Connor's nervousness melted away as he melted into Evan's gaze, getting considerably closer to Evan. Evan's composure was slowly being lost as Connor subconsciously moved closer to him.
And then, they kissed. It was soft and sweet. Suddenly, something hit Connor in the side, causing him to pull away abruptly and look at the culprit.
Jared had thrown one of his rainbow both bombs at Connor. Connor stared at Jared with a death glare.
"You just fucking ruined my first kiss, you idiot." He raised his voice a bit. He was pulled back toward Evan, who proved to be quite strong when he pulled Connor back into another kiss. Both of the boys smiled into the kiss. Some claps were heard around them, causing them both to smile widely before pulling away.
"What a cute lil bean." Connor beamed.
