It was crowded, not an ideal place for Evan Hansen. Evan wouldn't normally go to any concert, but it was a Dodie concert, and he tried to go to every one that was near him. He went alone because his mom was always working and Jared insisted on not coming, but he was still having the time of his life. Dodie was playing Secret For The Mad now, one of Evan's favorites. He was so engrossed in the song that he didn't even realize a guy approaching, not looking where he was going. The guy bumped into Evan, not realizing he had, and walking on. Evan was stunned. He lost balance, and closed his eyes, expecting a hard landing. But instead, he was caught by something. He opened his eyes slowly, looking up and seeing a boy that looked around his age with long brown hair. His heart tightened at the sight of him, and he smiled.

"Oh-uh-uh-I'm-I'm so sorry...!" Evan stuttered. The boy smiled at him, bringing him up on his two feet once again.

"It's not your fault. It's that jerk's fault." The boy grumbled.

"O-oh." Evan went back to the song, which was almost over, but he couldn't help but glance over at the long haired boy beside him. Soon, another song came on, but Evan wasn't even paying attention to what song was playing.

Now, the long haired boy, Connor, knew Evan was looking at him. But he acted clueless until he would look at Evan at the same time as he looked at him. He followed through with this easy plan, getting Evan to look away quickly. He then pulled out a piece of small paper, wrote a 10-digit number on it, and held it out to Evan. Evan looked at the note-sized paper with curiosity.

"Take it," Connor stated. Evan listened.

"Wh-what's this?" Evan asked.

"It's my phone number, silly." Connor laughed, letting go of the note and beginning to walk away.

"Wait! What-uh-what's your name?" Evan yelled over the loud music.

"Connor!" Connor shouted. He then left, leaving Evan alone. When he looked at the stage, he could swear Dodie was looking right at him, a smile on her face as she furrowed her eyebrows up and down suggestively. This made Evan laugh, which made her, of course, smile.

The rest of the night was spent texting Connor, listening to the music and texting.
